Great sized beer garden. Good energy/ feel to the place. Have screens outside to show sport on too.

Lovely dinner. There is a picture on the wall, taken way back when, with my grandfather on it. He used to live next door. Very special to me. I was born in West Malling .

I love this pub. It’s always welcoming, has a great atmosphere and large outside space to eat and drink. They’ve now built a bar outside in the beer garden and it’s table service for drinks and food which in the day I’ve never had to wait long for either. The staff are always friendly and polite and the food is good.

Good food and a reasonable choice. Pub was loud and busy but it was a Friday evening, so shouldn't grumble! Dog friendly too.

Went for Sunday lunch, chicken burger that I had was quite nice, however friends who had the roast were not overly impressed.Nice atmosphere and setting and good selection of beers on tap.

Absolutely lovely this pub - recently moved to west malling but this was a favourite before we lived here. The pub is a proper pub, the perfect mix of character, quirkiness and great food, drinks, friendly / attentive staff. Every time we have been there the staff are always friendly and on the ball with there service… great choice of beers and the food is always amazing and a huge choice from pub classics to burgers, hot dogs, ribs and a banging roast. Can’t recommend enough !!! Will be a regular for sure

Great roast dinner, rich gravy, homemade yorkie, fresh vegetables and thick cuts of meat. Staff were attentive and provided quick and friendly service. Will definitely return!

Friendly staff, food was yummy the whole experience was perfect 👍🏼

Fantastic pub, food was great. Staff couldn't be more welcoming. It was busy in a bank holiday, I recommend booking in advance. The selection of ale's was great,I particularly liked the IPA pale ale. Highly recommend using this pub.

What do you look for in a English country pub? Banter from raucous locals? Awesome ale? Historic decorations? This place, it has it all. It also has a new Spring food menu, 2 courses for £25 or 3 for £30. The food is a classic pub affair with a touch of flair. So come, enjoy the beer garden or sit indoors and indulge your senses in the splendid English atmosphere.Update, they now have sensational Smoke House food. 25 of your English pounds will buy enough cooked meat to feed a small village.
