Absolutely appalled !My wife called to book a table for my birthday celebration. The gentleman who she talked to (Frank I presume) was extremely rude and snappy towards her upon booking the table. So much so that she called me afterwards to say she didn't want to go for the meal. So I called the same gentleman directly afterwards and told him what he can do with his table. This place needs a lesson on how to make customers feel welcome. Never again

Everyone said the food was really good, we didn't realise how good. Had the Tournados Rossini - best thing I've eaten in a long time. My Fiancé had the fillet steak, said it was the best she's had.100% book and go. Top notch service & food. Poppy was excellent.

Not bad for a Wednesday evening. Not overly busy, but with a nice ambience. The service was excellent, really helpful with my friend who has a few food allergies. Thank you 😊The whole evening was so easy, left alone, yet someone there if you needed something.Great place to go, please try and enjoy 😉 xxx

Little gem in West Malling.Always throughly enjoy our meals here. Great selection of beer and the muscles are to die for. They’re huge. We love the green Thai muscles, and the house! It is always busy during the week which is a good sign. And the service is great too. Keep it up Frank!

First time at Franks, and won't be the last. Came here with friends for a double date, one of my friends had recommended it as they had been before.Everything was top notch, from food, to service, to atmosphere. Started with no.1 mussels. Cooked to perfection, with a sauce that was good enough to drink. For my main I had monkfish wrapped in bacon, I've only had monkfish a few times, but that was definitely the best experience I have had of it by far. It practically melted in my mouth. The gravy and veg accompanying it balanced it really well. For pudding I had the crêpe suzette flambé, which is a show as well as a treat as it's lit at the table with I think brandy. Very orangey flavour but not overpowering.Service was really great, managed to get the name of our server at the end of the meal. Have to thank Poppy for her service!Additionally, this is one of only a handful of places that serve fruit beers, so I was very impressed with that. The raspberry one is my personal favourite. For all of this the price is very good, a little more expensive than a chain, but well worth it.

Rustic, family run, country side restaurants should be available everywhere. Franks is an excellent example. Walking through the doors of the historic building you are introduced to its ceilings and beams at varying heights. There is loads of space, but make sure you reserve a table prior. The setting is romantic with its intimate lighting and humble tables.Service is respectful and perceptive. Their explanation of Franck’s Restaurants offerings is precise. The food is exceptional and excellent value especially on special Tuesday and Thursday. The mussels of course being their speciality, which can be prepared every which way imagined. Served with a side of baguette or fries. Delicious.
