Hilden Manor Beefeater Grill in Tonbridge and Malling

I visited with my partner for lunch on saturday. We were quickly seated and had the lovely Melissa as our waitress. The food we had was really scrummy!! Melissa was excellent in asking if our food was ok and if we wanted anything else once we'd finished. She was very welcoming, polite and a joy to have as our waitress!! We shall definately be returning. Thankyou Melissa! 👍

Diddnt have to pre book, was sat quickly and our drinks order was taken straight away. The waitress was apsoloutley lovley, extremely polite!! Unfortunately the wait for our drinks and food order was a bit long but one can appreciate its busy on an easter monday. Starter was lovley but main course was a bit dissapointing. The chicken was very bland and i got a handfull of chips. Not sure the main course was worth it for £13? Still a nice meal out, but was definitely expecting more.

Bare peak eatery, malt at the bar didn’t know how to make a cocktail and Mac n cheese had a hair. £15.99 for this ‘plate’ go spoons and get the beyond burger 2 Stars cause the Sweet Potato Fries were alright

Absolutely loved the food and drinks and our server Ella was fantastic. Very polite. Hopefully will go again when I'm up that way again.

It was tasty, but this cost £5.99! There is nothing here, genuinely shocked, when did the portains get so small?? 6 forkfuls! They might be trying to make/save money but dont get fooled. Not enough for a child and certainly not £5.99 worth, £2 and I'm being generous

Fantastic, attentive service from the lovely staff, despite how busy they were. Our fillet steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended!

Disappointing family birthday meal. Some Food came out cold and service was lacking and slow. Had to ask for sauces, drinks and new hot food to replace cold. Had to collect our own table service ordered drinks from the bar that had been sitting there for a long time apparently.

I was very disappointed today heading out to the Hilden Manor for lunch where i booked last week to take my mum out for a treat as she doesnt get out much cos of her legs, only to find that it was shut due to a burst water main, we actually got to the door before reading the notice after getting ourselves all ready, i was furious!, no email, no phone call to let us know it was shut, it takes a lot for my Mum to get out not being able to walk much, but to get no communication from anyone at the Hilden Manor to say that it was shut was disgusting as there were people actually in the building, we have been very devoted to this place and use it a lot to meet friends, but this was a failure on their part totally hence the 1 star, just a complimentary email would have been nice, but not a thing!!

At the time of writing this review, so far I've waited almost 20 minutes for the bill, already being told they will be right with us. To have three members of staff on, on a Saturday after 10am is nothing short of embarrassing, you can't run a service like that and expect it to be good.As for the quality of food, that's a completely sad story. You get the feeling everything was rushed and done with little to no care, almost like the kitchen staff have given up, clearly there is a lack of passion here.I had high Hope's for this breakfast visit, more so I wanted to take the wife out for a meal but after experiencing what I can class as the biggest shambles of a breakfast service I have experienced, I wouldn't return for a dinner one.What strikes me as very odd is the fact that so many people have left good reviews, is this just people happy with a sub standard visit or was it that good? Based on this one, I can't see how their visits was good.Incredibly, I have managed to look the restaurant up, login and write this review in the time that I STILL have waited for the bill which I will now also post this to Google.Someone really needs to look at the chains restaurants because there is a serious issue with the standards from the company itself and what it looks like to me is that management have long forgotten the restaurants in favour of an easy life and profits above a customer experience.I wouldn't say avoid, more take caution. If you walk in and the restaurant is busy, turn around and go somewhere else.

Large menu, large place with own car park, prices on the low side for this area, food certainly good enough, but, but... it didn't do anything obvious wrong, maybe it was just me, I just felt that I'd seen all this done before slightly better elsewhere. It does what it says on the tin, but you'd come here to eat if you were hungry, not for the ambiance or the culinary experience.
