Used so many times and it’s getting worse. Slimy satay chicken . £50.00 worth but no prawn crackers. Just a let down again and will be sure to try a new one next time.

Really lovely place. Staff are super friendly and literally learn your name without you having to say it when you phone in! Yes I am a regular but they do it to a lot of people. Food is really good, hence becoming a regular!

Food is lovely but it is an absolute nightmare to get through on the phone. Why on earth Ho Lap House doesn't have an "order online" facility is beyond me.

Just had my first take away from here . Really impressed, mini veg spring rolls,crispy seaweed, duck fried rice,pork balls with curry sauce . Rice really nice,not overcooked ,not too much .pork balls crisp , meat moist not tough .Curry sauce really tasty.Did somebody say 'just eat'..No way ,go to Ho Lap House instead:):):)

We ordered delivery on a Wednesday evening and were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. When it had not arrived after an hour and 15 minutes I called to ask if it was on it's way. The man I spoke to was incredibly rude on the phone, he actually used the phrase "we have more than one customer " and told me he was too busy to know when the delivery driver had left and seemed just generally annoyed that I was even asking. When I said I had been told it would be no more than an hour, he responded that it wasn't him that told me that, so why was I even saying it. I am genuinely amazed at the shocking customer service and they way he spoke to me. The food arrived shortly after and the delivery guy was far more apologetic and friendly. However, the food was distinctly average and with phone service like we received we will not be using them again.

Food is always lovely here would recommend. It's the best in the area by far and if the chairs are stain a little you won't be eating your food off them will you. Harry and Kim love your cooking xx
