Humphrey's in Tonbridge and Malling

Amazing cod & chips for my family & I. Fresh fish cooked to perfection, chips were lovely. The staff were very welcoming & was told there is also a restaurant which we will most definitely try next time. I will be back 😀

On entering the premises I noticed how filthy and dirty it was which made me very hesitant to order however I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered haddock and chips the haddock was uncooked the batter was raw the chips were soggy and brown, at £8.40 I feel like I’ve been robbed.

On arrival the entrance mat was almost walking out the door on its own ! Grimey and unloved is an understatement. Uncooked chips on the floor behind the counter. Disappointed.

Great fish every time, the chips are decent and the staff friendly.

Maybe I was just unlucky as it was my first visit here, ordered Haddock and Chips, poor chips and very poor batter.It comes wrapped in 2 separate trays which I don’t think helps things and the fish just sticks to the tray.The first time in ages that I haven’t wanted to finish the fish and chips.

On going in to place order I could see 1 menber of male staff with hair down that should have been under a hat or in a hair net.Placed my order, cheese burger with salad with red sauce, burger with salad and burger sauce plus chips.What we got was burgers with no salad apart from one with 2 bits of tomato and no red sauce. Very disappointed

A great little fish and chip shop - good sized portions & a large range of items available. They have sensible social distancing in place, including phoning ahead. Chips were lovely, and the fish had a nice tasting batter - a little thick for my preference - but lovely and crispy, so was demolished with great aplomb

This is one of the best fish and chip shops I've been to, the food is outstanding, the staff are very attentive and courteous. The restaurant is bright and airy I've had many a meal in the restaurant with either friends or family

My 3rd fish and chips order from kings hill fish and chips shop ; DELICIOUS... Good staff, fast , good service and fresh always. I dont normally give feedback to places this fish and chips shop deserves 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( we are lucky to have this shop in kings hill )

As I enter this new looking establishment I take a look at the staircase to my right. I sense this is a little more than the standard chip shop. As I look around I see specials dotted on the walls . I look up and see a well laid out board of common chip shop essentials. I order an array of foods including the X-Large Haddock and chips. I ask about eating in, at this point they mention the restaurant hidden away upstairs. I decide to eat at the counter downstairs. With all good things there is a wait.It was worth it. Of the chip shops in the area the quality of the food here is best. The haddock was sumptuous, dripping with clear oil in its battered format. The chips, cooked to perfection. The only element missing from the format? The mush in the mushy peas (they were over cooked) and A warm welcoming smile and small talk. The quality of the food though speaks volumes.
