Lovely country pub/restaurant serving great food and real ales. Great service from the friendly staff with all meals served promptly but with relaxed style in a nice atmosphere. Will certainly visit again if I'm in the area. Recommended!!

Lovely food and service in a classic English country pub.

Lovely friendly pub. Good food at reasonable prices. Tuesday night is Pie & a Pint Night. Great value.

Have some great microbrewery beers and the food is amazing ! My new local pub and it has a lovely and cozy atmosphere to it.

Probably one of the best pubs I've been to in Kent. The food is absolutely fantastic, the local cider is to die for, and the staff are all very friendly. They have a backyard that is perfect for a stop on a summer day, but indoors is perfect for a cosy pint/meal.

As always a very pleasant lunch. A nice sunny day meant we ate out in the garden marquee. I had the fish and chips, excellent. My companions had the pie of the day and the Barnsley chop. Both pronounced their meals as very yummy. All three of us succumbed to the temptation of the pudding list as well.Well done Victoria and Simon.

I read very good reviews about this pub, so thought we would give it a go. Very friendly lovely staff, very sweet waitress. We ate here too, which was quite a nice menu but pretty average food. They had a lovely garden and allowed dogs. Next time we will take our dog as they are very pet friendly with treats. 🐾

Stopped in after visiting Ightham Mote for a cold drink and a sit down.Really nice garden, there wasn't very many people there when I went so it was very quiet which was was just what we wanted. Feels like if you went back 50 years the pub would be almost the same so it's still got that rural feel to it.I had a nice cold apple cider, and a glass of water. Perfect for the hot weather yesterday.

Wonderful pub with super friendly service. We came into the pub during hiking, the kitchen is already closed but owner still made sandwiches and chips for us. The pub has >400years history and it’s simply beautiful

Excellent food, rural location, old traditional pub, friendly staff (would have been 5* but there is a service charge) which means that I can't tip !
