Lovely family lunch, will be back soon

We had a sunday lunch here, our first time for several years. We had good service, they even cooked me a piece of cod as I don't eat meat to go with the Sunday roast, nice and hot plenty of vegetables. Friendy staff, clean premises, would go again.

Being locals we expected our Xmas night to be festive and fun. Ordered a couple of bottles of wine and then were told they had no wine glasses left so make do with tumblers. A couple ordered gin but had no gin glasses.Food okay as was the service.Owner apologised for no glasses but surely at Xmas you'd ensure you have enough for those booked in?Disappointed on a lovely place.

Was told it's great for a Sunday roast . So first visit to see what it's like . Looks fine have included the Xmas menu πŸ‘

Enormously improved since its patterned- red-carpet, sticky dark varnish days of yesteryear. A pared-down, modern aesthetic is pleasing, breezy yet welcoming. A good pub menu, offered with a smile and flexibility, uplifted us after an arduous day. Several groups were dining early evening and we would now heartily recommend The Nevill Bull at Birling.

Went for a drink and pizza tonight with friends at the Nevill Bull. Such a wonderful pub in a very pretty little village. We got a lovely warm welcome from Chris at the bar who made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to going back! Next time, we will definitely be trying the Sunday roast!

My elderly aunt and uncle live near the pub so they even take a Sunday roast to their door. The meals are plentiful and delicious. Gourmet fish and chips takeaway on Friday is as good as any we have tasted. (On a par with the harbour at Whitstable, which is high praise.) Before lockdown I went in occasionally when visiting - the beer was always well kept, and the food looked and smelt good. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely pub, lovely food and lovely staff. Steak was cooked to perfection. πŸ‘Œ

Nice little village pub. The roast organic turkey was lovely. Mixed roast were good. The veggie was a bit under cooked, but we enjoyed our Sunday lunch.

Another fantastic Kent country pub. Reopened in November, serving food on par with its Ofham sibling The King and Queen, but in a larger venue.Service is humble, professional and attentive. All food, including the piping hot bread, has a fresh zingy taste.Excellent value, quality in a beautiful village setting.
