North Pole in Tonbridge and Malling

Lovely old pub. My friend and I were on our holiday (left the men at home!) and the Landlady/Staff made us feel so welcome that we went back 3 nights running! The food is home cooked and delicious. Great atmosphere and the locals were kind and very friendly to us as well. We got to know their dogs also which was so nice. We discovered through chatting to the lady behind the bar, on our last night, that her daughter lives only about 11 miles from us, back in Suffolk. Small world! We will be returning at some point soon for more great service, food, company and much laughing! Thank you to you all. X

I went to the North Pole one weekend for a nice Sunday lunch and I must say that it was excellent. The Yorkshire puddings were perfection to the highest standard and the gravy was just how I like it. The peak of our visit was the lovely barman operating front of the house. He said his name was William so I would love to leave a good word for him as he was the kindest boy we've ever met.

Got to give a thumbs up from us, took our mums here for Mother’s Day, was very busy, staff working their socks off but very attentive! Couldn’t fault the food or service and would definitely return! Thank you for an enjoyable meal with two elderly silver tops!

Pub looked nice and was nicely decorated. However disappointing as we queued for 15 min to request a walk in table, only for them to book in the last available table over the phone while we had already been waiting for a table. A little organised unfortunately.

Kids loved the play area we loved the food and sitting area.

We were left waiting outside as we arrived at 11.50 for 12.00 booking. Time passed as other people waiting were friendly and chatty. When allowed in we were greeted by a woman who could not smile to save her life. Instructions barked at us to sit at our table until called. Obviously a common occurrence as someone behind us said the food makes up for it! Shown to our table. Called to queue to be served about 12.15. pleasant young girl served veg etc. Only to be replaced by a young girl who insisted on calling everyone my lovely. Nothing guaranteed to get my back up more than that. Food ok. Could be better but marred by poor service. The rest of the staff were pleasant and smiling. We were over charged for drinks as staff tried to give us drinks that we didn't order but still added to the bill. Next table were waiting ages for their drinks. Overall my impression was I wonder why some people go into the hospitality trade when they are so temperamentally unsuited to it.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. A food selection of beers and delicious great quality food. Only downside, there's such a great choice on the menu, I am going to have to go back again 🙂

This place is amazing! The food is good and the staff are friendly.They go above and beyond, in particular Zoe. My daughter was refusing to eat her dinner and generally, Zoe gave her cuddles to comfort her and kindly offered to sit with her and encouraged her to eat. We were able to enjoy our food, and our daughters enjoyed themselves.They also welcome dogs which is a bonus!Keep doing what your doing! Amazing service and genuine. If I could give more stars, I would!And Zoe ls very kind (love Marnie) x

Lovely pub. Friendly staff and great quality food. They were literally flat out busy tonight and still everyone got what they ordered, on time. Highly recommended!

Just had the tastiest meal, chicken kebab with the best homemade chips, food was delicious and the staff are fabulous.
