Papas Barn in Tonbridge and Malling

Echoing an earlier post. We have been customers for years.However just visited today and although fish and chips great as usual we also were shocked at an extra £1.50 if we wanted a salad at all. Whether as a half and half with less chips or no chips at all. I totally understand costs have increased but this feel like being ripped off.As we travel from Sevenoaks it’s unlikely we will return. Such a shame as before lockdown it was a real pleasure to eat there.

Portion sizes are really tight. Brought 4 portions to go around 4 kids and 2 adults it was really short ! Still hungry after. Nice chips but portions very small.

We have been using Paper's for years, approximately every two weeks for a happy superb night out and get together for the 5 of us.Now the food is so expensive and the staff very rude and inefficient.For years I have had fish and salad no chips now you have to pay extra for salad and no reduction for no chips. Will never return

Unfortunately ordered Papas this evening and found lots of plastic in my 1/2 pounder. Choked and won't be returning.

Have always loved Papa's. However, decided to try the chicken and mushroom pie today and was very disappointed. The base was very soggy and only found two bits of chicken inside. Chips were lovely as usual though

Have enjoyed coming here for several years. It’s good that you can get order small portions now as I find it difficult to eat the large portions that are available. Friendly staff. The fish is always very tasty.

Had a lovely meal with a friend. The staff were very polite, the service was good. The food was hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place if you like fish.

Usually lovely food and it was however awful service, three times wrong order taken. No experience in customer services rude and abrupt. Will have to go to other fish and chip shop which is disappointing

Probably the best I've tasted in the UK.The fish is always excellently cooked. Chips have a great taste and aren't greasy at all.Staff are always very polite and make you feel welcome.😁👍

A lovely dining experience with my friends. The fish and chips was generous in portion and tasty. The fish batter was also lovely and not greasy which is how it should be.The customer service was superb by the owners niece which made the whole visit worthwhile. The setting and the restaurant was lovely and very well maintained. Lovely food with great staff!
