Nice vegetarian cafe located centrally in West Malling... Healthy dishes at a very reasonable price all within a tranquil/relaxed setting...

With very little notice, I needed to find someone to provide a vegetarian/vegan lunch for twenty three people in West Malling. The local cafes were unable to help but fortunately, the cook at one of them recommended Ragamuffins. That was, in itself, reassuring, but when I met Kenna, saw her menus, saw her calm and thoughtful suggestions for the lunch I immediately let go and trusted her judgment. ( The only requests I made was for the chocolate cake and the coffee cake. And they were absolutely delicious). As for everything else, Kenna decided.Sandwiches, salads, some very familiar tastes and some very unusual. All delicious.. Kenna even provided, at very last moment, a gluten-free option. Amazing. And it was all delivered, beautifully presented, exactly at the time we requested. Highly recommended. My only regret is that I didn’t take photos of the spread. So, if you are in West Malling, look for Ragamuffins, a mother and daughter run cafe, with excellent food and cakes. We didn’t try the coffee but I’m sure it is equally excellent. And they even offer spent coffee grounds, carefully packaged, for gardeners to take. For free!

We went at early lunchtime. I had a vegan big Breakfast....sausages, hash browns, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, scrambled tofu, baked beans and toast. In my case the sausages were substituted with sliced avocado as I'm wheat intolerant. It was great. Very friendly staff and owner. We'll return.

Stopped off in West Malling last Sunday to get a snack. Just about to go to Costa when my daughter spotted a sign for this place. We both had the vegan pancakes which were awesome; light and fluffy. So glad that you guys had put the sign out. Much happier supporting a great local business than a huge multinational 😁

Had the pancakes and hot chocolate, loved both and were a great start to the day, making sure to come here next time I’m in town. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Different! I wouldn’t usually pick a 100% veggie place to eat, but friends picked it. Not much of a selection on the menu, but the food was ok, fresh and very tasty. The portions sizes are quite small, so if you are expecting something substantial you probably need to order two plates of food. The staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the different items on the menu.

The best vegetarian breakfast! So delicious, fresh and full of flavour, coffee was great too. The pricing is very cheap considering the high standards. Lovely atmosphere, Will definitely be making another visit to this groovy place ☺️

Expected more and so desperately disappointed in what we got. Pancakes were supposed to be American style yet was flat and tasted like paper. The hash browns were soggy again with no flavour. Sausages were salty and got a teaspoon of spinach. Waited almost 40 minutes for this disappointment. Unfortunately was inedible so paid the bill and left without touching much of the food and went to eat elsewhere. Just all round disappointed. The previous cafe in that same location was lovely but unfortunately this one was a horrible experience with tasteless bland food. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
