Spice House in Tonbridge and Malling

Ordered three times order been wrong or late. Its a shame as its my local but last time I told them I waited 1hr 20mins before so please make an effort. This time they was on time however...gave me someone else order so I had to wait again..

Rubbish. After waiting an hour and half decided to ring only to be told they didn't have my order. Was asked how I placed the order. This was on there own website and I received a confirmation email with a order number. Only decided to use this takeaway as they wanted to follow me on Instagram today and there local. Will not bother ever again

Had a few takeaways from here. Always within the specified time hit and full of flavour. Reviews are mixed on here, but find takeaways are a personal taste. Highly recommend and worth a try

I was extremely ill from food delivered from this place. Upon an environmental Health inspection, it transpires they are reheating rice and not reheating sufficiently. I’ve never had food poisoning so bad as that before

Awful service, ordered Through Justeat at 19:20 delivery didn’t arrive at all. Asked Justeat for an update at 20:40, retimed to 21:40. Attempted to call Spice 20+ times constantly engaged. 22:30 still no delivery of food.Eventually after 22:30 managed to get through on the phone to a rude individual at the restaurant whom was utterly unhelpful and unsympathetic. Requesting full refund, individual on the phone wouldnt/couldn’t do this himself.

First take away from Spice House tonight. Ordered through Just Eat. Waited about 30/40mins for delivery and food was still a good temperature. Driver kept to social distancing and wore gloves 👍 Food was absolutely lush. Ordered chicken tikka masala and asked for it to be medium/hot spice and it was so delicious and very saucy. Mushroom rice spot on and good size portion. Garlic naan... wow. So fresh and yummy. Bombay aloo and onion bahjis also a good choice with lots of flavour and not greasy at all. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

We order from here frequently. Last night we called and placed an order for 4 people at 7.30pm. We were told they were busy and it would be over an hour which we accepted. It got to 8.30pm and we accepted as they were busy it would be late. It got to 9pm an we tried calling to find out how long it was be but the line was engaged and when it did finally ring there was no answer. At 10pm we were hungry and grumpy and had to go and pick up a Chinese instead. The curry never arrived. Just called them to find out what happened to our order, they say there was a problem in the kitchen and some delivery driver didn't turn up. Still took orders though and didnt bother to call anyone to let them know they wouldn't be getting their food. Can accept problems occur but can't accept their total disregard for their customers. If we were sitting in a restaurant we wouldn't have been sitting there for 2 and a half hours with no information as to why our food hadn't been served. Won't be ordering from them again.

1 Star is being generous going by the service I received.I waited two hours for my order before calling the restaurant to ask where it was, I was then argued with and spoken to very rudely by the staff who told me their website wasn't working and they couldn't see payment or the order, I showed them proof of both.They then informed me the kitchen was closed and that they wouldn't do anything and to call them the next day to sort it.Completely unacceptable service and I would advise anyone looking to order food to go elsewhere.Rude and happy to take money but provide nothing.

Ordered food at 6.50pm with delivery time of 8.10pm. 9.10pm (over 2 hours from order and an hour late from delivery date) and still no food, tried ringing multiple times and no answer kept going straight to answer phone but with no option to leave a message. Cancelled through Just Eat in the end and now 9.30pm on a Saturday with no food. Absolute joke. Regular customer with Spice House but will never be ordering again

Ordered curry last night. I would say that our previous curries (a madras and a bhuna) were the best we'd ever tasted but..... last night's meal was soooo oily - the bag it came in was swimming in oil and we had to literally spoon off loads of oil from the top of each of our dishes. It was very disappointing. My wife asks for a non spicy bhuna (she's lactose intolerant) and said her previous one was full of flavour whereas last night's was just like flavoured gravy. Must depend on the chef I guess but we migjt have to go elsewhere next time.
