I brought my elderly mum here on Sunday for a Sunday roast and even though the food was lovely, this restaurant is not accessibility friendly especially for anyone who is in a wheelchair.Every entrance and exit has a step and me and my friend - plus other customers and a staff member - had to help me and my friend pick up my mum in her wheelchair at every step to get inside and outside the restaurant.Anyone could injure their backs! They did provide 2 metal ramps (but one did not work properly) and we had to wait for someone to go get the ramps, and then wait again for them to set it up, and then we had to carefully try get the wheelchair down the ramp.. basically the whole operation of trying to get my mum in and out of the building was a mission!I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone who is in a wheelchair or has immobility issues, as the carer is going to struggle to get this person in and out of the restaurant.I would recommend the steps in the building the one at the front entrance, the one at the front door and the one inside that leads to the tipi to be replaced with a gentle slope or fitted ramp. It’s such a lovely venue and the food is amazing.. but the lack of accessibility for those who are immobile is a major fail and let down, and nicely ruins the day after having a lovely meal.I love to come back with my mum again, but it’s going to cause us so much hassle getting her in and out of the building in a wheelchair which is big let down.My friend said she wouldn’t want to come back here again because it’s dangerous and she works as a physio for the NHS!So having a healthcare worker identify these risks should be noted.

Absolutely great meal. The ribs are perfectly prepared. Sea bass perfectly fried served with vegetables, the taste of which struck me ..

Came here recently and reminded me of the layout you will find at The Swan in West Malling. The outside canopy area is stunning, if you’ve been to either one of the restaurants then you will Love the other. The food was great and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking too. Would definitely go again

Tipi dining was exceptional 👌very good food accompanied by a very good, friendly service. First time we had been so wasn't sure what to expect but can say we were very impressed from start to finish.

Absolutely fabulous. The pub itself is a mix of old and new, with a beautiful garden area and an even more incredible teepee area. The food was excellent, they've got local beer on tap, and the staff were so friendly. Dog friendly, covid safe, immaculate toilets (with cloth hand towels, made me feel so fancy). Really worth a visit.

Excellent setting, first class food and service. Lovely warm environment in the teepee out the back and topped off with a local choir joining in with the live singer to sing Christmas songs. Thanks for enhancing my birthday celebrations 🎉🎉🎄🍻🎂

Managed to book a table for Sat eve at relatively short notice. Warmly greeted on arrival then a very pleasant surprise as my partner and I were walked into a new part of this establishment - a huge tented area that was lit up and very impressive. I ordered the duck, leek and orange spring roll for starter - really great and loved the combination of spice and citrus flavours, main course was the pork loin off the specials menu - again was really good as was the mixed Berry cheesecake dessert. Sadly my partner was not so lucky - the halloumi burger was average and the chunky chips marginally undercooked. The apple crumble she ordered was more crumble than apple and again just average. The waiting staff seemed to have given up by 8.45pm and seemed to want to go home. So - a tale of two meals, one excellent, one less so, great ambience in the tented area and service a little awry towards the end.

Food was good and well spaced between servings, and nice environment. Felt welcomed throughout and very friendly staff. There was a 10% service fee which wasn't known at the time which is the reason for the four stars but don't let that deter you. (Hopefully they pay the lovely waiters and waitresses extra out of this service fee as service fees tends to inadvertently discourage tipping!)

Fantastic food, especially the dry aged steaks and great service. We will be back soon!

Excellent service and food with some very generous servings. The sharing board in particular for 4 people went down an absolute treat (no pictures as it disappeared quickly!) highly recommended. Felt very safe with the social distancing between tables. Nice added bonus that the pub was dog friendly as well. Will be return after lockdown part 2 for sure!
