Best steak and ale pie I have ever had! In fact best meal I have ever eaten no doubt. So so good and I don't work or live there. Found it by chance when the beefeater up the road was shut. Really friendly good all round little village local

·

Lovely pub, and excellent food. It was just a little too noisy in the bar area; unfortunately, this is where we were put to have our lunch. Overall experience was excellent. Would definitely go there again. .

Pleasant experience visiting this pub, good choice of drinks from the Greene King stable and we'll priced. We ate an assortment of snacks from the menu and all food was very good quality, nicely presented and very tasty!

I had a meal with my Family last Saturday evening and all I can say is BRILLIANT!I little gem of a village pub that should be supported more by the locals. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and food was top class. We all had different dishes and the whole family we very impressed with the whole experience!Well done to John and all your excellent staff. You are a credit to the village!!!

Had a fantastic meal here with friends. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive.

Took grandchildren there last Tuesday for some lunch, none of the pubs in Wrotham were serving food, we had been to the park there and I was trying to extend the treat. Glad I remembered the Blue Anchor, nice food, very reasonably priced, staff so friendly and welcoming and lovely garden the children played in until the rain overtook us.Excellent lunch.

A typical country pub. Great staff, fairly priced and tasty food. Pies are deeeeelish! Well worth a visit.

·

Nice friendly staff, good food and funny signs. I'd definitely go back.

·

The Cheers of Kent country pubs. Brilliant, warm, chatty staff. An amazing selection of pub grub. There is an attention to detail wrt the humorous decor beyond anything I’ve experienced before or since.Food wise, the competition in Kent is too fierce to recommend the Blue Anchor.

Food was fantastic and friendly service! We had a lunch, it was two course only £9.95 Very spacious terrace. Nice to dine outside when the weather is nice. Highly recommend!
