Visited today for a birthday Sunday lunch. Fantastic service, great food, and superb hospitality! Thank you!

·

Cracking country pub, plenty of good beers and spirits (good gin selection) and very good food. Sunday roast highly recommended. Superb garden when the weather is nice.

Lovely friendly pub! Welcoming staff, lovely hot freshly cooked food! Dog friendly pub too which was nice!

Lovely pub, log fire, excellent seafood and chorizo stew.

I went there with my friend yesterday when staffs just opened the door for business at 12:00pm. As it was cold and windy, one of the staff immediately lighted up the wood burning stove and we felt warm instantly. The food was lovely although I found the price of starters and desserts a little bit pricey, but the main courses not. The staffs were very friendly and the Christmas songs and decorations are on, it looks great inside. The car park is big and easy to park, restroom is clean. It is a very nice pub at East Peckham. Will go again with family in the future😀😀According to the staffs, the starters, maybe desserts often change weekly!

Had Sunday lunch here which was okay. Nice selection of vegetables, but a rather small plate of food overall for the price. Not the place for you if you are a big eater. Haven't tried the weekday menu, so that may be better. Very nice people though, pleasant service. Came back for a classic car meeting in the field behind the pub, great day and very nice people to chat to. A good turnout of cars, I even missed a couple if E Types that left before I could photograph them because I was chatting.

Very nice country pub. Excellent gravity fed keg beer, very tasty food and tastefully decorated in style with natural fireplace and natural brick. Will definitely return.

Came here for lunch on Sunday as a walk in.. had one starter, 2 burgers. The price of drinks is extortionate especially for a pint of draught coke 4 pounds. The service was good although just checked receipt and not impressed with the service charge already added on.Not that I'm tight or anything but it's cheeky to add it on and expect.

A Ploughman’s! Being a little “wet around the ears” I had no idea why the Ploughman’s took up its own section on the specials board. After ordering said dish, I now know why. It is social and yes it is substantial. The steak and ale pie was special too, home made goodness housed in an immense puff pastry pie roof. It is an architectural food master piece, which is rich and sumptuous. The pub is beautiful too and is as traditional as the food it serves.
