Would highly recommend the Sunday roast here. Food was delicious and the staff friendly. Will definitely go back to try some of the other meals on the menu.

Came for a family get together over a Sunday lunch and chose The Carpenter's Arms as we hadn't been before. Service was good and the food came out reasonably fast. Very clean and had a lovely countryside vibe to it despite being just a few minutes outside of Tonbridge.I got the seafood fettuccine, which had a nice bit of heat too it with the chilli, and the sauce was delicious. Lots of seafood in the dish too so it was worthwhile. For pudding my partner and I shared raspberry crème brulé and Eton mess. Both were excellent, I probably could eat the Eton mess three times a day!Outside there was a beautiful seating area covered by a pagoda type structure which in turn is covered with flowers and vines. It was really nice sitting outside in the sun just soaking up the rays.A decent sized car park too so I would imagine parking is only difficult on really busy days.

Lovely staff. Very welcoming and very attentive. Good food cooked well. Had a very naught but nice raspberry crème brulee. I also took the dog who was made very welcome

First time eating here and we had a fabulous lunch. Great food, good service and a very relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to booking again.

We recently had dinner at the Carpenters after it was recommended by a friend, food was fantastic. Only small issue we had was glass of wine was warm, but replaced in minutes with an apology.

Lovely friendly place to stay. Delicious breakfast too. Thank you. Only one small issue, our room was extremely warm even though the radiator was off and the windows ajar. However this would certainly not deter us from booking a short stay here again...we'll just ask for a room which is not above the kitchen.

Lovely meal and table service for my family and I. Childrens meals very good, my son said best burger he has had 👍. Very good with kids. Nice atmosphere and good sized tables (kids like to spread out with colouring etc!) lamb roast really good and wife said mussels were brilliant. Will be going back 👍

Wow the food was amazing!! I've never had such delicious mushroom tagliatelle! My husband had the steak and ale suet pudding and was really impressed! We will definitely be returning with friends.

It is wonderful, the food is spectacular, the staff are so pleasant & for dog owners your dogs are welcome as well into the bar. Dogs are not allowed into the main restaurant but they are most welcome elsewhere. I went with my sister, my nephew, his wife & they huge dog buddy & they were so accommodating for us. And as I said the food was beautiful.

Stayed in deluxe room 9. Lovely room suprised to find at £140 a night didn't include breakfast. Breakfast very nice but pricey. Compared to evening meal which was lovely and very good value. £60 for two with drinks, wine and a pudding. Sat night could hear a loud hum in room until gone 11 assume kitchen extractor. Then Monday disturbed 730 with workers chatting and moving bricks outside our room. So overall restaurant brilliant room well over priced
