The Farm House in Tonbridge and Malling
Where is The Farm House?
🏠 High St, West Malling ME19 6NA
"At the centre of the lively market town of West Malling, the Farmhouse is of Elizabethan origin and has been a coaching inn for centuries. The charming mews to the rear has a unique atmosphere, and has become the main social hub of leisure activity in the town, with an immaculately preserved coaching house built in Kent ragstone, beside this are the old stables, where you’ll now find The Cow Shed and 4 ensuite bedrooms. The quiet ‘a la carte’ dining area is to the front of the bar facing the High Street."

Been here on a few occasions and never fail to impress. I have also stayed in the rooms available and they are as lovely as expected. The food is always amazing as well as the cocktails that are served daily.

Stopped by for lunch, wow! Fantastic food, great atmosphere, attentive staff. Lovely location. Seriously impressed with the quality of the food. I had the scallops as a main which were perfectly cooked, presented with a lovely side salad. It was Tuesday and busy inside, always a good sign. Other diners seemed to be enjoying the food as well, which all looked really nicely presented. This is the second elite place I have dined at, and they were both fantastic.

We stopped here by chance and so glad we did! Food was really great, we had the scallops, the plant based Döner kebab, plant burger and sea bass. Can definitely say we enjoyed all parts of the meal. Atmosphere was great too and friendly & helpful staff everywhere.

The best staff I've ever seen. I went to the restaurant today for a party and brought my two energetic young children. The whole staff was incredible and patience with them. that means the world to any parent. The food was great obviously.

The Farmhouse is always an outstanding venue for top quality food and excellent service. We had our lunch there yesterday and once again we were treated to exquisite tastes and attentive service. The drinks were perfect. A truly cosy and comforting experience.

Lovely Sunday Roast. Was seated upstairs which isn’t as pretty as the downstairs restaurant but still nice.Only comments I would make is that I ordered the medley of meats for my roast and was told I would get all the meats but only received 3/4. My partner ordered the pork and the crackling was missing which we had to ask for and was brought to the table.Other than that, we had a lovely roast.

Spent the evening here . Had a nice meal in the restaurant which was a good experience. Visited the cow shed cocktail bar for a few drinks and spent the night in one of there rooms.. Overall really good, but a little pricey hence the 4 stars

Cozy inside dining area with plenty of outside space. Would like to go back in the summer. Food was gorgeous. We had the lamb shank and surf and turf. Both very tasty and cooked beautifully.

Excellent establishment! Excellent selection of international cuisines. I may even bring my vegan friend along one day. Well done chaps and chappettes 👍

Went for an early dinner and was not disappointed. The waitress was new but very polite, attentive and had clearly familiarised herself with the menu. The food was delicious. The duck was moist and tasteful which, was balanced with raspberries. The sticky toffee pudding for desert had ample sauce and a rich flavour.
