Excellent service and good food. Mothers day menu excellent along with a plant presented to each mum on departure. Lovely touch. We have booked again for our son in laws 40th.

We visited it for our club's annual dinner, there were about 40 of us. The service was faultless, the food excellent, well presented and delicious. The staff were attentive, helpful, thoughtful and cheerful.

Fantastic food, massive portions and a lovely atmosphere. Luisa did a great job and made sure everything was perfect. Will definitely be back with my family

I don't often leave reviews but I loved it. The George is an old style country pub/restaurant in a small, out of the way village, Trottiscliffe. There is ample parking. The service was really good and the food was great. Some places skimp on such things as coleslaw but there was plenty and it was 'home-made'. I will be going there again.

Good place for our family lunch of 8 including two small children. Our only complaint was the huge size of the icecreams, particularly when asking for a child's portion. It was wasteful to serve such huge portions. The mains were generously portioned and well cooked at a reasonable price. Plenty of free parking.

Visited on 4th Dec in a party of 19 and thought it would be run or the mill pub food but no, large man size portions well cooked and very tasty.I had the steak and ale pie with tons of veg and lovely roast potatoes. We were supplied with extra gravy with was nice and over all the service was excellent. Pub has a great menu and the portions are large. Good range of beers and ales and great atmosphere.Will definitely visit here again, well done to all the staff there.

Amazing meal, the portions are so generous. Another great meal and hopefully more in the new year!

This was a lunch stop around 2pm for our circular walk. I'd read the reviews before. In agreement with others the portions are huge. Our single portion of sweet potato chips was shared between 3 adults. Good service, great light lunch food, good beer too. I'd come here again.
