We booked a table for 1.30pm and was served promptly, we had the Sunday roast, delicious, nicely cooked, well presented, staff were very friendly and helpful, very clean toilets, would definitely go again.

Lovely place to eat and drink. Good menu, great service and fair prices.

Lovely food. Great service. 👍

We had our daughters Christening party here and they looked after us very well. Function room off the main bar. Staff were nice and food was good. Would recommend for family gatherings and parties.

Really so disappointed in the Sunday roast. The Yorkshire puddings were hard, doughy and inedible, the potatoes soft and tasteless, couldn't tell the difference between the meats those were cold too. The whole meal was cold and disappointing. It appeared as though it was all cooked the night before and then warmed and plated up. The worst roast ive ever had in my life. As you can see from the pics of the Yorkshire pudding it has grill marks on it. Which clearly was whacked on the grill to warm up. So not cooked and then served immediately. It tasted like sponge. I couldn't eat the food and took it home for my dog. The manager tried to rectify the situation by bringing us new meals but unfortunately it was the same food plated up. It was horrendous. My family ate some of it as we obviously paid for it and for what it was it wasnt cheap either. I expect better from a pub like that especially with their prices. I've been coming here for years and even had some roast in the summer and it was not too bad. The other food on the menu are nice too. Just very shocked at this roast dinner and how horrible it was. 2 stars because ive had other ok food from here before over the years but i guess i will be taking my family elsewhere from now on.

Great pub in a pleasant rural setting. Ample parking. Cozy bar and restaurant areas. Great to see a local beer on cask - Musket Brewery. Other than someone who had brought in a ridiculously loud dog it was a good friendly atmosphere. I did not eat on this occasion but the food looked very tasty. Staff friendly and aiming to please.

Sunday lunch today. Large portions and good quality food. Staff very accommodating. We will return

I took a walk on a day off to the pub for a solo lunch and was very well taken care of. The staff are lovely and my dressed crab was fresh and tasty. Wine perhaps a little more expensive than I would prefer to pay but the taste and quality of my rose was very good.

Had better school dinners.Service with a smile? No chance.Chicken wings weren't too bad so wasn't a completely wasted journey but the rest, iwouldn't serve to a dog. Terrible. Lucky to get 1 star.

Dined outside which was nice. Food was unimpressive and bland. Seriously lacked flavour - heat on its own does not eqate to flavour. Mushy water filled rice. YouTube can help on both fronts. Missing chickpeas over 2 plates of the same dish, insufficient vegetables on the whole. Mini poppadoms were nice. Staff were pleasant.
