The Mandarin Chinese Takeaway in Tonbridge and Malling

Every time I have been delicious food and good portions. Cooked fresh unlike other places who pre-cook all the rice. Best Chinese in Tonbridge. Always collect and always very busy because it is so good.

Having read the poor reviews about long delivery times and cold food we decided to go here in person to order and collect our food. Two items we wanted they didn’t do, large pancake rolls and dry spare ribs. My wife was told “if we can’t fulfil your order, we give you more”. So we ended up with two lots of Mini spring rolls and two lots of Spare ribs in Barbecue sauce as well as the other items in our order. More food than we needed and not what exactly what we wanted but the extra portions were free or so we thought. My wife paid for the food, a bit pricey but hey we’ve not used them before and brought it home. When I checked the bill we had indeed paid for the extra portions of food that we didn’t want, hardly an act of good will for not being able to fulfil our order. We got two lots of a dish we didn’t want, twice and was misled into paying for the pleasure. So we paid an extra £9 for two extra portions of food that we didn’t want in the first place. The rest of the food was Ok ish nothing great but the look of the Chicken in the Chicken Curry reminded me of Weebox dog food. It was anaemic, obviously water blasted and reconstituted Chicken plus it was limp and tasteless. We will not be going back there.

I miss this place since moving out of my parents 8 years ago lovely food very big portions and the service varys like anywhere if it is busy prepare to wait that's all I'm saying a great place though

The food tends to be good but the service is shocking (apart from the delivery driver who is lovely). We had to wait for two and a half hours for our food last night. When I called to chase I was told it would be quicker if I came and got it myself. I explained I was at home with two very hungry children and could not collect, hence why I ordered takeaway. No apology, no money off, nothing. I was told I would have to wait another 20 minutes. 40 minutes later the food finally turned up. We will not use again.

Best Chinese food around by far. Always hot, fresh and tasty. Delivery drivers are always courteous. Highly recommended

Absolutely rude. Wen I chased up my wrong order they send my original order 15 mins later cold !! So wen I rang them he just swore and shouting down the phone. Absolutely a discrass. Would never recommend them !!!

Food is amazing. Arrived when expected piping hot and intact. No leaky containers. Best chinese locally in my opinion. Consistently high standard, delicious food at reasonable cost.
