A fantastic restaurant serving great food. The function room is very spacious, with its own bar and toilets, perfect for most functions. Free parking on site (you need to enter your vehicle details into the system) and the car park is quite large. There's also outside seating too, perfect for the sunnier days.

We have visited The Moat on several occasions, returning often because of the good atmosphere. Food always tasty, varied menu offering lots of delicious dishes, and very dog friendly. Service is always efficient and relaxed . The car park is a draw back and confusing. , You are not reminded about the car park having no connection with the pub itself, which is strange because its directly in front. There are signs, but in very small writing. Considering it meant having been sent £100.00 fine, you would think the Moat would warn you at the reception area.

My wife and I had an evening meal there Saturday night a few different choices I had sea bass fillet in curry sauce and mussels very good. My wife had Chicken and prawn linguine which was good as well. I would go again as we had been at brands hatch that day and not local to the area. But will playing a visit again. Pleasant staff and friendly.

The staff were all very friendly. The food was lovely & good sized portions, unfortunately as we were tucked away around the corner we seemed forgotten about. It may seem petty but I ordered the chicken & prawn linguine, the portion size & taste were both excellent but I only had two prawns (I would expect more as it's a main ingredient) the staff apologised but no offer of getting more!I won't rush back 😔

First time we've visited since the new ownership. We weren't disappointed! The new look interior has breathed life back into the building whilst retaining its character and charm. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. And the food? Oh wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Such a different and varied selection too. I would urge any foodie to go sample The Moat's offerings!

After severely underestimating the quality of the menu. I'm happy to say our group of ladies had a delicious meal here tonight. Friendly helpful staff in a warm social atmosphere. A good night all round.I personally had the Calamari main and Lemon Cheesecake dessert. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a family gathering here today. Was greeted by the guy behind the bar and immediately made to feel welcome. Well presented large pub restaurant. Good selection of foods and beers. All 10 of us had nothing but praise for the food and size of the portions. Would not hesitate to go back again. Good service all round.

This place has recently been renovated and refurbished and walking in this was clearly evident. It is the perfect place to go with family and friends and on top of this it is a dog friendly venue. The food was lovely with all the roast dinners cooked to perfection and in particular the tuna steak burger was amazing ! The service was great with Andre (front of house) being polite and friendly. The only thing I would suggest is if the cocktail and food menus be expanded but was impressed and will be returning!Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Took the family for lunch, superb food and lovely staff. Its really clean and beautifully set out. Lots of space and the outside garden area is outstanding. We had a great experience and will certainly be going back soon.

Very large pub with excellent menu, however no frills, if it states burger and fries that what you get. Can get very busy on a Sunday and therefore waiting times can be longer than expected (chef did come out and apologise). Fantastic double burger and a good size kids burger too. A little prices and 6% service charge is added but worth a visit.
