The Plough at Leigh in Tonbridge and Malling

Not only a wedding venue but a lovely countryside pub with fabulous garden to sit in on a lovely sunny day. Food always great and service above and beyond. Highly recommended for small groups or larger groups like ours.

A fantastic pub - great food and lovely service. Warm fire for the winter and a beautiful garden for the summer. Really recommend a trip here, even better you can bring your four legged friend!

My daughter and new son-in-law chose the Plough as their wedding venue some two years ago and from that day on we received excellent communication and advice throughout the whole process.On the day of the wedding, Becky and every member of her team ensured that everything went so smoothly, we did not have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious and received lots of positive comments from our guests.The whole experience, the beautiful barn and pub, the weather (the sun shone) and the service and attentiveness of the staff was exceptional, making for an amazing day. Thank you all at the Plough!

This has taken over as my favourite country pub in the area. Friendly, helpful staff. Properly dog friendly - they gave him his own bowl of water and lots of smiles. Great food and ales. Nice garden with equipment for children. We did a lovely walk there and back from Tonbridge through Haysden, which I would recommend also. Can’t fault the pub in any respect!

Great pub food and service: and great service for 4-legged friends too. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect stop after our long walk, great Sunday lunch and good size portions!

We hosted our wedding here on 21st December and I cannot thank the staff enough for what an amazing job they did! All our guests commented how lovely the food was and how beautiful the venue was.Della and Becky were amazing on the day and everything ran so perfectly. Thank you so much again!

After being let down by our original wedding venue during Covid, we found solace in The Plough at Leigh. Not only were they amicable and accommodating for our big day, but they went above and beyond their call of duty for our big day (particularly as our vodka luge turned up earlier than planned last minute and had to be squeezed into their walk in freezer until the big reveal in the evening!). The day was so perfect and the venue so picturesque. A massive thank you to Hazel, Della, Nikki and the rest of the team as you were all so attentive on the day. Everything went as planned and I could not have asked for more. Thank you ever so much for making our day so special. We will be back to reminisce (andto also enjoy the lovely food you serve!!)Thank you so much ❤

Lovely pub with nice atmosphere. Just popped in for a drink but ended up booking for a meal as well.

Went here for a wedding. I was disappointed for the couple as you couldn't hear them. Maybe there should be a better sound system in place. The food was good, and staff were lovely. The building was beautiful, the garden and surrounding area was so breathtaking. I wanted to find out more about the history of the place. I was unable to find any information on it. Shame I think it would more character to the place.

What can i say we finally had our dream wedding at The Plough and Barn on the 8th July. This was our 3rd date due to Covid and Hazel calmly professionally helped us reschedule with excellent communication. The day could not have been any better we where looked after so well by all off the team especially Becky from start to finish. They accommodated every request and i just got to relax on the day knowing it was all taken care of. We where so lucky to get married outside in the beautiful gazebo, have a lovely day outside in the sunshine playing garden games. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the food and drink was amazing and plentiful. Thanks again Mr & Mrs Oliver
