"Fields at Aylesford is your local country pub. Whether it’s a pub lunch with your partner, Friday drinks with friends or an epic Sunday lunch, you’ll be glad you came. While away an afternoon on the terrace with food, drinks and friends. Our drinks selection is pretty impressive! We’re cask ale and beer connoisseurs, so you can be sure of a perfect pint. For the wine drinkers, we’ve got velvety reds, crisp whites, soft and sweet pinks, prosecco and champagne. Gin and whiskey lovers can try different varieties. And those who prefer softer options have plenty to choose from. The menu is bursting with choice. Grills and steaks supported by hearty pub classics that always hit the spot fill the menu."

I work as a truck driver around the corner from your restaurant/pub and drive past every day at least two times a day. It always looks clean, smart and inviting so I decided to take my wife there for dinner yesterday evening. Both very impressed and will definitely be back. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful and the food was great. Keep up the good work. Will be back soon.

We had a nice impromptu lunch this afternoon. Sat outside so the kids could play in the small play area. The food was reasonably priced, the staff all friendly and I really liked the cute little touches at the bar (see pics). The food wasn't anything special but it was nice enough and the basic sort of pub lunch we were after! The anti pasti platter we shared for starters was very nice. We had club sandwiches for mains, which were on huge slaps of bread but the chicken breast was a little overcooked! We'd go back if we were in the area and needed a quick bite and beer whilst the kids ran around!

We visited this place to celebrate a birthday. The overall quality of the roast dinners was to a very good standard, and the portion sizes were just right. However, none of the meals were particularly hot, and neither was the gravy. In addition, pork crackling was missing from two of the meals and stuffing from another. This is the only reason why 5 stars weren't awarded. The staff were friendly, hospitable, and seemed to care about the customers' dining experience. I'd happily come here again in the hope that the small issues identified above have been resolved

Going to start with the positivesThey have done a great job on the refurb. The staff were very friendly and you could tell they are trying hard to impress since reopening. I also enjoyed my cinnamon swirl bread and butter pudding. Now for the negativeUpon sitting down we were reeled off a long list of food that wasn't available only to find out the options we did pick were also not available. The burger as you can see was the size of a McDonald's happy meal burger and the linguine wasn't that much bigger. We repeatedly had to ask for our water as it seemed to be forgotten on numerous occasions. Last but no least my Irish coffee was served with nothing Irish about it. Like the water it seemed to be forgotten. To conclude I wouldn't recommend to others as there are better options about.

Our party of 5 were greeted at the door and from that moment we were treated like royalty. Every member of staff had a cheery smile and a hello from several . We were shown to our seats and noted how spacious the restaurant is now, after being refurbished also the delightful decor .We had everything explained to us and told that our waitress was Katie . A very pleasant young lady who spoke clearly and took our orders for drinks , which arrived in no time at all .We then ordered our meals , which were all different . They arrived soon and we were all pleased with the presentation , As i said to the manager 'Andy' when asked how our meals were , ' the chips were to die for '. Never ordering chips because of so many disappointments , i was most impressed . Then ordering our deserts 2 chose the bread and butter pudding and the other 3 chose apple and caramel tarts , delicious ! The attention to detail and our every need was catered for . We were all very impressed by the whole experience and will be returning . In fact i have booked next Saturday evening and taking 2 friends . Well done everyone that made our meal out so enjoyable .

Our experience was fantastic! The transformation is exceptional, the atmosphere has really changed making it so enjoyable, relaxing and somewhere you really want to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails, food was brilliant and the service was exceptional.Specifically my wife and I would like to mention and thank both Megan as our waitress and Connie who served us our food. Megan was brilliant, she had a great sense of humour, and was very patient with our order as we couldn't decide what we wanted! She made us feel very welcome and was a pleasure to chat to.Connie was always smiling, very polite and asked if there was anything else she could do to help - again making us feel so welcomed!Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and are already planning to return with friends and family! Its a place to go for drinks and/or food, we fully recommend a visit here - plus the garden is very cosy ready for the spring and summer nights (not to mention the heaters and blankets provided, we can't wait to return!)

Amazing transformers in the inside and out. The staff are a credit to the place friendly polite hardworking. Everything seems to be thought of down to the sweets for the kids and treats for the dogs. The blankets phone chargers eyeglasses such a lot of thought. The outside space is now inviting to the customers. We had a shared platter and the food was delicious, drinks very reasonable priced. Andy and his team are doing fantastic

Such attentive staff really nice, kind and polite. Place had a great feel to it and food was really good. I had fish and chips which I enjoyed. Garden is being renovated-looking forward to seeing it.Had a nice corner for the kids with wall puzzles and bead tables. Kept the kids busy in-between courses.Another cute feature was a children's book table, a lovely touch.Only issue, toilets were clean but a bit smelly, but they are toilets! Thanks for a great lunch. I will be back!
