The Red Bull Pub/Restaurant in Tonbridge and Malling

Fantastic dining experience. Table for 3 booked on the Thursday steak night. The Bar manager Liam and the waitress Rhi were very attentive, friendly, and offered an excellent service. Great selection of drinks, including a local guest ale which was very much enjoyed. Bottle of wine included with the meal was a lovely touch. Chef Michael and Chef Garrie cooked our food to perfection. The presentation was amazing and everything we ate tasted delicious. A big thank you to Chef Garrie who went the extra mile with the birthday girl's dessert. The added touches and the candle really brought a smile to her face. Extremely well priced for the quality of food. First time at the Red Bull, & what a delight. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu was fab with lots of seasonality, & the food was delicious. Excellent selection of drinks to choose from, including lots of local producers which is always nice to see. Will def visit again.

Sausage and mash, mash was actually decent and creamy (not the traditional smash most pubs use). Sausages were tasty and a good size. Was very enjoyable and such a rustic feel to the interior. Will definitely go back

This is quite a nice pub, but obviously struggling... £5.20 for a pint of cider..I mean, really...!! I will not go back here as they don't seem to realise that there are other pubs out there that don't take the mickey.

We popped in for a hot drink. I couldn't see anything on the menu that I would like. The owners are friendly. But it a very meaty menu. It's a hard area to survive in so you need to cater for your regulars. The pods in the garden are an excellent idea. Very forward thinking.

Superb eating with great ambience. 7 meals all cooked to perfection. We eat there on a regular basis and it's been great to share the experience with our friends who also have commented how they enjoyed great food.

Generous cheese and meat platters. Beers had a good selection. Lovely lunch. Interesting for an evening meal at some future date.

My husband Alan and I visited the Red Bull, Eccles on Thursday 12th August 2021, to sample their steak night and I must say we were not disappointed!The interior has recently been refurbished to a high standard, but keeping the character of the place.Adam and the team made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, and the food; oh what can I say about the food.... it was just so so good!The choice of 3 different cuts of steak offered were unusual. We both had different cuts and each steak was cooked to absolute perfection, extremely flavoursome and super tender. Our desserts were made by their specialist dessert chef and were superb!The attention to detail throughout the whole meal was amazing. If you ate a meal of this standard in the city you would pay fortunes!We would highly recommend. Had this booked for a while, 1st time to get to eat out and have a drink in a pub.Staff were very attentive I found the food ok but my wife thought the fish was bland and the chocolate tout was very dry.It was very expensive even though we had two large cocktails for pub food and they added there service charge on the bill, not cool.......

What a treat of a pub!! The new owners have made a real gem out of the garden. The staff are lovely, the service was great and the beer has been long awaited! Didn't eat this time, but the menu looks amazing with GF options and some vegetarian food too.
