Great Food, Great Drink and a fantastic atmosphere with excellent staff.. Best place in Kent for steaks bar none… Sunday roasts aren't bad either…👍🏻 Well done Simon and Jo, we’ll look forward to coming back d soon…

Was looking forward to this meal but was very disappointed. The bar area was very crowded, we were shown to our table which was next to the door in the middle of the crowd of people waiting for tables, which was being bumped by the crowd and people were resting their drinks on our table, we were told it would thin out but we asked if we could move to the next table which was empty all the time! Why we couldn't have been sat there first place is a mystery. No drinks menu on the table, finally ordered a bottle of wine and got 2 glasses. When we got to order our meal, already 4 menu items had run out, which I feel was extremely poor for 8.30 on a Saturday night. The food was nice but not outstanding, and was overshadowed by all the other problems. Couldn't wait to go home, and don't think I'll be returning.

Outstanding.Highly recommended. My wife and I had an amazing meal and dining experience here.Well portioned menu selection and the steaks are outstanding.Reasonably priced considering the amazing tastes and presentation.Clean and well laid out with plenty of space to spare.Staff who served us were a pleasure to deal with.We will definitely be returning and will let all our family and friends know this is a must visit restaurant.

The Butchers Block is a little gem! I booked a table of 6 for my Dads 75th then changed the booking to 8. When I initially called to book I was advised that their restaurant was fully booked but was offered the poseur table in the bar area. I was a little apprehensive as my parents were elderly but the food here is fabulous. When we arrived to our surprise they’d laid out one large table in the private area of the main bar which was really nice considering I didn’t mention the age of some of the party or that it was a birthday celebration. This made the evening a little bit special and we were told we had the area for the night!. The place was really busy but the service was second to none with friendly attentive staff. There was a slight delay on the food but considering half of our guests were late and the pub/restaurant was packed this wasn’t an issue, again staff very attentive. The food was simply fantastic and very well priced, and quite frankly the best meat I’ve eaten out of London and in the South East (I’ve eaten at a lot of steak restaurants), one guest had fish and loved it, looked and tasted great. All in all a fantastic evening had by all, well worth the visit. As a local I will definitely be supporting this venue, keep up the great work guys well done!

This was our first visit here. I enjoyed my meal of Iman Biyaldi starter and had ordered Harissa Spiced Aubergine Curry served with apricot rice and crispy halloumi (gf) as my main course. The two dishes were exactly the same, which I though was unusual, (except the extra rice, which was just rice with a few pieces of apricot thrown in) and I only realised 2 days later I should have had crispy halloumi with it, which I didn't receive or notice at the time. It was a pleasant enough service and atmosphere, and I liked the decor and table fresh flowers. However, I am now disappointed neither the waitress nor chef pointed out the missing halloumi or the similarity between the dishes when I ordered. We knew it's not a cheap restaurant, but definitely not value for money, even after the 25% off offer during January Mon-Thursday.(which we only discovered when paying) I'd be interested to hear how the management respond.

Food quality was of a very high standard, it's not cheap but they do say you get what you pay for, staff was very pleasant and friendly, I will be going back for more.

Great steaks, succulent and flavourful, good scotch egg, homemade and delicious, burger was a bit of a disappointment as the bun was over toasted and dry and burger was just ok. Probably my fault for ordering a burger in a steak restaurant! Lovely service and atmosphere.

Not our first time here. Parking is a little tricky but you are there for the food. Usually have a steak but today had a two meat roast (beef and lamb), excellent quality, best tasting meat. Hope to go back soon this year!!

Fantastic food, lovely service and a great selection of drinks, especially in the gin department. It was lovely that the staff were there, but not imposing, so we spent 5/6 hours just eating, drinking and having a wonderful time.
