Sunday dinner was amazing. Beef dinner was Superb, but the Pork Shoulder/ Pork Belly that everyone else had was fantastic. Best roast dinner around.

Husband and I eat here regularly and the food is consistently good. Whatever you order there are no disappointments! Drinks are always good, good range and choice for everyone. Always reasonably priced. The lamb shank on daily specials tonight was superb and the banoffee pie, as always, is delicious. Highly recommend.

Quite exceptional! Substantial portions of great ALL home made food!This venue, very very rarely, produced roast beef as rare as I love it.The king prawn provencale were delicious. Moving on to the main we both had the roast beef, each presented to our preference of cookery. Each element was perfect in cookery and presentation.Dessert, whilst almost full was absolutely necessary! Massively conflicted by too many choices I love but opted for the Eton mess, with Eton mess ice cream and a home made coulis.Every element is clearly home made to an exceptional quality.staff attentive and unrushedWell worth the visit. I visited this pub on Sunday whilst staying the weekend at a friends. Good selection of beers and ales and very friendly landlord.

Went here for a pint with friends following the refurb. What a pleasant surprise. Whilst it still lacks the charm and character of some of the surrounding competition it has been transformed into a comfortable, welcoming pub. Even better than that, a range of cask ales to get me back more than one. TT landlord, Betty Stoges and many others, fantastic. The food smelt good as well and once I eat there it may end up as a 5 star review.......well done.
