Barn Pub and Grill Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

Nice pleasant pub very clean and a lovely pint of Harvey's looking forward to trying the food another time. Tried the food the next day and wow amazing. My wife had the lamb rump and even though she like her meat well cooked it was super tender. I went for the duck and wow amazing the sauce is awesome I was wanting to ask for some bread to soak it all up. Desert was just as good as the starter and the main. The staff are very polite and friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them. Highly recommended place to eat.

Was here as part of a funeral wake. Having moved away from area a long time ago this was first visit in some 40 years+ It's changed a bit! 😁Staff were efficient, the served buffet was very good. Under better circumstances (for me) a nice place to sit.

I had my wedding here, it was perfect from start to finish. Philippe ensured it was seemless and everyone was well catered for. The barn staff were extremely helpful and catered to everyone's needs. The food was absolutely fantastic and everyone of out 69 guests all agreed XxXx

Five years ago i got married here, today my wife and I came here with my parents. We had a three course meal which was very nice indeed. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful my mother has a gluten intolerance, but this wasn't a problem because most of the food on offer was gluten free. Honestly you won't find a more friendly place to eat and have a drink. I personally recommend it to anyone. Just brilliant 👏 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely place to come for a quite lunch or a great big very late Christmas party. The food was yummy 😋 and lots of options to be had. The service was absolutely excellent, very friendly 👏 nothing was too much. Will come again.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Barn in September 2021 and the venue was truly magical. We had the most memorable day; one we will never forget.We instantly loved the venue when viewing photos online, and when we viewed the venue for the first time in February 2019 alongside Philippe, who was so welcoming, we booked the venue straight away without wanting to see any other venues.Our wedding was originally scheduled to take place in April 2020, but due to COVID it was pushed back several times. Luckily, after waiting 18 months, we finally tied the knot in September 2021.Janet was absolutely amazing throughout and was always there to answer our questions. It took us five attempts, but we got there in the end, and Janet could not have been more accommodating.The Barn is such a beautiful venue and perfect for the 64 daytime guests we had. It was intimate, especially the ceremony, which is exactly what we wanted. Phillipe and the rest of the team decorated the venue so beautifully; it was honestly better that we could have ever imagined. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and this made the day run smoothly. The food was amazing; from the canapes, to the sit-down meal and then the evening buffet. They also have so many wonderful additions that you can include in your package and we opted for the sweet cart, which everyone loved, and even made use of The Barn's "Mr & Mrs" canvas and easel for our welcome sign.The venue is in a fantastic location, with great transport links and a beautiful park across the road, which is where we had our gorgeous wedding photos taken.The Barn provide a list of outstanding wedding suppliers, which was a great help when planning our wedding as we didn't really know where to begin. We were fortunate enough to work with some of their recommended suppliers; Helen England as our photographer, Cut Above Productions as our videographer, Colonnade Florist and Luke Swift as our DJ. All are AMAZING and we would highly recommend each of their services.We cannot recommend The Barn highly enough. It is the perfect wedding venue and all our guests adored the venue. Janet and Phillipe, from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough! Pleasant restaurant with a varied menu to cater for all palettes...

I recently booked a table at The Barn for my partner's surprise 30th birthday meal and had the loveliest evening! All of the food was amazing, with the fillet steak cooked to perfection.The team couldn't have been more accomodating - from my initial booking with lots of help from Andrew, to Phillipe's assistance when I dropped decorations off earlier in the day, and Milo and the team tending to us and bringing out the cake in the evening. We already can't wait for our next visit!

Wonderful staff and evening, the food was delicious. Although I hated the fact the fajita came with tons of mushrooms baked right in,:) would have been great to have a fresh, zingy salsa or tomato avocado accompaniment to the oily blend of mushroom and pepper, as I had to pick out the mushroom it was just endless peppers in a wrapBesides that it really was a nice meal altogether but I wouldn’t order fajitas again. Bruschetta was delicious but really needed to be a little bigger ✨Environment is wonderful and very pretty entrance

Positively surprised with how cosy and nice this place is, even though it's right next to the train station. The upstairs restaurant has a great atmosphere, food is great. Downstairs bar and bear gardens with outside seating. Thumbs up for this one.
