We had a great time playing Pool. It's very cheap at £1.50 per game. Very friendly atmosphere here. Would recommend. Only minor negative is, some of the queues need new tips. But overall a very relaxing fun experience.

I was hoping to go there this year, until I found that they put the PINS ON STRINGS in October last year!!Every bowling alley that has installed pins on strings clearly wants to make an extortionate profit rather than provide decent quality bowling, which is a rip off, especially because at every string bowling alley I have ever been to, I have always seen the strings tangle (far more often than perfectly resettable sweep jams) and take several tens of minutes to untangle automatically, and yet paid full price.We need to boycott all bowling alleys that want pins on strings!

I couldn’t fault the staff, attentive and helpful even though it was busy. Only 2 stars due to the ‘Pins on strings’ which I believe do not fall in a true way (this isn’t just an excuse for my bad bowling!). They are frustrating and it’s not the same fun. We do bowl regularly but will not return here.Also a bit disappointing that every review gets the stock reply.

Two words would sum this place up. Worn & slow. The furnishing's look like they've been there since 1980 something & the service! Slow doesn't do justice to how slow they are. A really bad burger takes 20 minutes & a round of drinks for 10 consistently took more than 30 minutes.

We went to Hollywood Bowl on saturday early evening with my 10yr daughter and a friend plus my preschooler. It was overall very good, fun lighting and quite a private experience in the VIP lanes, you could adjust the lanes to put bumpers on and off per person. There was quite a significant delay getting onto our VIP lane. The suggested time to allow was 10mins per person per game (ie 40mins for a 4 person game). Getting on the lane so late meant the kids were tired and lost interest by the end. We preordered food and drinks items at a 20% discount which was also encouraged as it meant you didn't have such long wait times for food drinks etc. The kids enjoyed the 10p pusher machines in the arcade - the staff were excellent at sorting these out when they were jammed. When they are fully booked on ordinary lanes it is likely worth paying the extra £1 per person to go on the VIP lanes which cannot be booked via the website.The below held us back from a 5 star experience:-You need cash to play in the arcade and the cash machine was broken.- The delay in getting onto the lane was difficult, though I do appreciate it's difficult if the people before you are slow.

First time I has been bowling for about 20 years. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Also an indoor amusement area, snooker tables. Also had something to eat which was very nice. Proper hot dogs. Staff were all very friendly. Would recommend.

Great place to go to on your day off. I'm sure you are have a great time in here doesn't matter how old you are. I'm here with my daughter as she's having a birthday party in here,all of the kids are really enjoying the place.After a few rounds of bowling they are going to have something to eat and as I can see if there would be an idea to extend the party without the kids we could have more serious session-fully stocked bar is just a few metres away 😎if I'm right there is a dance floor for those brave ones as well...
