Dragon Tan in Tunbridge Wells

Like the previous customer, I have enjoyed good food here over the years. There has been a steady decline, but tonight we reached the bottom. The crispy duck was as dry as my shoe leather, the cucumber was cut as if it was a carrot and the spring onions were non existent.Sadly it is Auf Weidersen Pet from this customer..

I hesitate in writing this as we have been loyal supporters of Dragon Tan and before that, when it was The Honeymoon. I'm afraid to say our meal last night was not good, the third time recently the food has been poor. Beef with ginger and Spring onions. Beef was tough, outer skin of spring onions chewy, hardly any ginger and very salty with soy. Chow mein small and very salty. Sorry DT.

Great takeaway! Good portion sizes, fresh, tasty. Toby and his sister were front of house with a warming smile. Sorry you lost the first XV local derby the day after Toby!

Taste was there, ribs were good, chow mein nice, satay chicken was tasteless and watery, meat was questionable in general. Not particularly impressed

Wonderfully tasty food, can tell it's freshly made, the Satay Chicken was tender and tasty, the ribs were the same. Will definitely order from here again. Found a recommendation on a fb page and glad I tried it out for myself. 5 stars

Have ordered from there twice in the last couple of months and it's been excellent, freshly cooked and not greasy at all. Have to wait for 60-90 minutes on the weekend but we'll worth it.

After a few hours wasted on Friday night and no food to show for it, it may be useful for other families to know that If Dragon Tan in Tunbridge Wells has long delays then you can also try ringing another of the family's branches, Honey Moon in Tonbridge (which next to the station) and ordering direct from then.If you cannot collect the food from Tonbridge then they may be able to deliver to you in Tunbridge Wells but the delivery fee is higher ie £5.50 not £2.50 although this may make life a lot easier for busy families or people needing food in a hurry.One star doesn't reflect the quality of the food nor the friendliness of the staff, it's just that we wasted a lot of time on a Friday night had nothing to show for it.I want to support this chain of restaurants because they have decent hygiene ratings (and lots seem not to) but I'll be using The Honey Moon Branch in Tonbridge moving forward and hopefully to avoid any future issues.

In the spirit of helping out local businesses in these odd times I thought I would try a different take away. I had eaten in here before and it was good. The takeaway however wasnt. Wan Ton soup was tasteless, crispy squid was soggy and no edible pepper, dumplings were pretty tasteless and the the Singapore noodles were greasy and obviously made with old meat. I threw it away. Ill be sticking to my old favourite in future. Try this restaurant eat in, quality was better.

Not worth the hassle.You can’t call because the line is off the hook and the front door is locked so just hope they don’t mess up your cash-only order after a 90 minute delivery time. Try calling for yourself and see

Fantastic quality food. Fresh and hot and prompt service. Decent size portions for the Very reasonable price Very enjoyable.The owner and her staff were very effective and willing to make us feel really at home as we were on holiday. Had a lovely chat with the owner afterwards and she was very helpful in opening up the car park so we could be near to my wife's therepy cat who we had in the car. They were very supportive of us popping out the back door on occasions to check on the car. One of the best Chinese restaurants we have been too. First class
