Kino Cafe in Tunbridge Wells

Really dislike the new system of ordering food/snacks on a screen.. what happened to good old service with a smile? Service was also very slow. Film was good though.

Seats are extremely uncomfortable with limited leg room. I am only 5ft 4, and my knees were nearly touching the seat infront. The cinema was also extremely hot. Due to how uncomfortable we were, we would not go to this cinema again

It was a quieter night, Went to see Sonic 2.The volume is actually just right, compared to the booming volum I'm used to.Booked some Premier seats which were really comfortable.The popcorn was really nice, warm.The staff were wolcoming and friendly.Would definitly go again next time in the area.

It's a cinema.It's always clean, the staff are friendly, it feels a bit more personal than some chain cinemas but like all of them the food is overpriced and the experience is very much dependant on the film quality. I would like to see more retro screenings..

We don't come here that often but the times we have we've really enjoyed it. There is plenty of parking, the staff greet you on arrival and have them let us know exactly where to go.The film and sound quality are fantastic. If there was one thing I'd change it was tonight we found it tricky to find our seat row inside the cinema. The letters of the row were not obvious to me.Apart from that thumbs up and thank you.

Watched the new Batman film on a Tuesday lunchtime. Cinema nice and empty, seats comfortable and leg room not an issue at the top of an aisle. Reasonable prices midweek.

Haven't been since before pandemic so a few things changed...If you didn't book your tickets online, you can buy them at the front desk where a friendly member of staff will assist you.Buying food and drinks is different as you either have to preorder it online (web or app) or you can order it from one of the few big screen thingies (I think you can buy your tickets there as well) - like in Mac Donald's... When you pay and place the order you get your order number and then you just wait for it. Again, if you didn't frequent cinemas lately and you find the ordering process a bit confusing (like we did 😅), a friendly staff member will assist you. Luckily, we got served almost straight away as it wasn't busy - in case it gets busy you should still be safe as the trailers are long enough (just as they always used to be)... It would be helpful if there would be some dedicated space around seats to place your food (as they do offer much more than just popcorn) like in some other cinemas, or if they would offer some optional paper bags (like bigger ones with handles) if you buy more treats (if you're with friends or family for example). On the positive note, the cupholders are big enough to hold even their largest drinks. The seats and the areas in between were obviously cleaned properly.In terms of getting there, I noticed there's public transport available until quite late from and to the town center (train station I think) with the bus 277. For drivers, the parking is big with enough space even on the busiest days (though, if what other comments are saying is true we would definitely end up with a fine as we were there for more than 4 hours - we came early to eat in the restaurant next to the cinema before the movie and the movie itself was nearly 3 hours long plus the trailers, plus we had to use the toilets after such a long movie).We came with a taxi and if you're in a group I'd say it's well worth it and it's definitely cheaper than a fine that you might get if you stay too long ‐ apparently, the limit is 4 hours and if you're coming with a family, and planning to eat before or after the movie, the time can just fly by (and I would recomend the bowling alley before or after the movie for a nice afternoon or evening with friends or family).The price of treats or food and drink in general is kinda what you'd expect in cinema - personally I find the prices reasonable, but if you're on a limited budget with family it can add up. The tickets are cheap with plenty of discounted options (kids, students, teens, families) and there's the monthly subscription that's good for unlimited viewing (but the subscription is only valid for one person - the one subscribed, and booking the tickets this way is not at all a straightforward experience unless you're planning to go to the movie alone 🤷‍♂️ ).Can't tell for sure if the experience might be a bit more frustrating during busier days and weekends as we visited on Monday, but we were pleased with the service - all the staff members that we came in contact with were friendly, polite and helpful (though the food servers could crack a smile or two more often - but this is not a complaint, they were also professional)...I was happy that the seats were set in seating position already and they don't automatically close as that used to make the simple process of just sitting down incredibly complicated if you had drinks and food and more than once it caused me to spill some popcorn (but not sure if this change applies to all seats or we were just lucky)...The movie was also awesome 😁👍

Good, nice, clean and safe. Munchies good too. Ticket booked online and was straight forward. Reasonable prices. Just don't arrive early (my only gripe) as no where to wait and as you check in any food ordered online is served up. Good if on time but if early then standing around with a ton of pop corn and bucket of Coke is a little awkward but worth the wait.

It is a nice cinema. All the staff I've come in contact with seemed nice and helpful. A fairly user friendly experience for buying tickets and food and very easy if booked online. It seems like a quite quiet cinema, not sure if this is just a hang over from covid, but I am yet to come across it heaving. The biggest ding is that some of the seats really need to be reupholstered as they have worn through, hence four stars instead of 5.

Very welcoming staff, place was looking tidy, lot of parking space. We had popcorn and blackberry slush ordered by machine. Movie grate as well.
