Went there last night 16/6/22 for the Jazz on the Pantiles. They’ve done a set menu at £33 per person. You get a starter, and a main, with two sides for this price. I’ve just looked at their regular menu, and for what i had it would normally cost around £21 so they’ve inflated the price by £12 per person! Given that you pay £5 to watch the Jazz anyway, there seems to be no justification for this, other than blatant profiteering. Really not on in these times of high inflation. Will not be going again. Food was very average, for such a high price. They didn’t even post the Jazz on the Pantiles night set menu on their website, so you don’t know until you get there, how much it’s going to cost. Underhand, and unacceptable. Avoid.

This is an over-priced Curry establishment for its quality. I ordered the Chicken Banjara Tikka Massala (£11.50), and although it was appropriately spicy, it didn't have the sweetness of its Tikka Massala base. The Bombay Aloo (£5.50) was less flavoursome than I usually expect also. In addition to this, the Chutney, which cost £1, did not come with lime pickle, although this may be excused by the fact there was an alternative to the Chutney called Mixed Pickle. The minimum cost for a soft drink, bar tap water, was £3.50. Furthermore, the service charge was 12.50%, and not mentioned on the menu.On a positive note I would say the service was very good. Also, when I disputed the bill, over the service charge, they were generous in their settlement.

Very expensive and poor quality. £25 for a well below average bottle of red wine. Tough chicken and tasteless dahl

The Dhal scan be inconsistent over different orders, not always fresh and the lamb as at most Indian could be better quality or have longer and slower cooking. Overall reasonable with very good service

I’m Asian, so I know good Indian/Pakistani food.Poppadoms- greasy, bottled saucesStarters - deep fried from frozen rubbishMiddle mixed grill course - chicken soft and succulent, lamb tough as bootsMain - like a microwave meal , garbage.Service - the waiter here was on crack I think, he was pouring my wine every 10 mins - I don’t want a full glass, I don’t want to guzzle it - so stop!!They’re basically trying to shift you out the door for the next lager swigging punters to sitSo this place is serving bottom end ‘ curry’ for young beer swillers… that’s their aimSo don’t bother going if you like good authentic Indian food - cos it’s not.

A lot of stairs to climb , I don’t know how they expected me to manage that with my bunions & no liver & onions or mince & mash to be found on the menu , still , the food was alright if you like all that foreign stuff like the youngsters do these days , if there was stout available I’d have given you four stars

Had a delivery to Blackham last night for a social event for 22 oeople. Suki and his team handled the order professionally and took the time and consideration to make sure everything was right even catering outside the menu and adding a few extras.... Suki even delivered the order personally and stayed with us to help distribute the food and make sure we were all happy. Food was hot and delicious! Highly recommended.

Received an order through Deliveroo this evening and the food was the dregs of the kitchen. Uttetrly disgusting. Spent £54 and can't eat it. The tarka dhal was an oil slick with no veg, the tika masala had 3 pieces of chicken and some cold tasteless sauce. Even the popadoms were stale. Offered a 10% discount on next order. If you can't manage takeout properly, and think 10% discount suffices an inedible meal, don't do takeout.

We came here for jazz at the Pantiles. I have eaten many curries in my time but none as bad as this. The starters were clearly cooked from frozen and the curries incredibly bland. When I first got the bill there were several items we hadn’t ordered but even after getting these removed the bill was over £100. I felt robbed considering the quality of the food. Also, after a trip to the toilet the place is in desperate need of refurb!!

Don't entertain, gave us a menu minimal food on it, then also gave us a take away menu said order we can anything which we did. They then charged an extortionate amount more to the price not explaining this, complained and got a refund. Also, 12.5 % service charge added. Worst curry I have ever had.
