La Casa Vecchia in Tunbridge Wells

Had a lovely dinner here last night celebrating a friends birthday. We were a table of 10 and I had a paella shared for 2 that could feed 4! We took home 2 portions. Great atmosphere and food. High recommended

What a delightful evening had here last night. We were walking as along the Pantiles and we fancied a drink. The waiter was really chatty and we had a great laugh. We decided to eat and we had lovely food. I had a vegetarian pizza which was fresh, hot and tasty. My friend is vegan alas the menu gave no indication of vegan dishes. That is my reason for 4 stars, in the current day having no indication of vegan options is I believe a let down and without the engaging waiter we might have not bothered. I am so glad we did but I'd strongly suggest the management rethink their menu as they may well be losing custom due to their menu and it giving no indication of vegan options. One waiter didn't know what a vegan was. Overall though a wonderful experience in a warm cosy setting with friendly staff. Thank you, we will be back.

Great view of the Pantiles. Superb service and excellent food. We really enjoy our time spent outside having lunch and found it great value. Would definitely visit again!

Consistently excellent Mediterranean restaurant. Great steaks and seafood and a well chosen, keenly priced wine list.Evenings in the upstairs Grey Lady music venue are always fun too.

This was really good. I like when water is put on the table as we sit down. The food was superb, the staff friendly and helpful. We will be going again.

Staff had a good understanding of gluten intolerance. We had a very tasty paella. The dish for the 2 of us could easily have served 4. Doggy bags are available!

The place was busy, we know why!! Superb food. The staff were friendly. Most people seems to be having large dinners but we went for the delectable Tapas. 5 different dishes for a lunchtime treat. Nice range of drinks too.

We had a dinner this weekend. Our table was outside behind a dirty bin. I asked the owner to move us. She was very rude, even come to our table and started to shout me in front of my guesses. Finally, she kindly moved us to another table. Food average. I didn’t like the vegetarian paella. The steak was not tender full of fat and nerves. Very expensive for an average food. Staff was friendly with the exemption of the female owner.

Fantastic as always. Paella was delicious and the churros are an absolute must. Will be back again soon.
