Mister Chef in Tunbridge Wells

Ordered food today, came on time. The food tasted amazing and was fresh. No complaints at all.

Good local takeaway cooked with fresh ingredients and cooked to order... Does get busy at peak times so prepare to wait (or pop over to the local shops after placing your order to buy a bottle of wine to go with the food)...

Had the sweet and sour pork. The pork was dry and hard, had a strange taste. I definitely had better sweet and sour pork from other Chinese takeaways in the area. The sweet and sour sauce also had a different colour to other sweet and sour sauces.

Duck and crispy chilli beef are exceptional for a take away. Chicken fired rice is great too. We over order every single time, without fail.

Easily the best Chinese I've ever had. I moved away from Tunbridge Wells a few years ago and I've never found one that matches up. I always make sure I get a chow mein and beef in black bean sauce whenever I'm back. Those and the chicken satay skewers cannot be beaten.

Unhygienic practices. I recently visited Mister Chef and became alarmed by the lady handling the food licking her fingers as she was handling food.Given the heighten COVID 19 issues that we are having, this is very worrying and I would suggest that the council's food hygiene team review their star ratings. I count myself as being fortunate to have seen this and left the shop.Be careful out there

Poor telephone service. Extremely rude lady on the phone. Answering other orders while on the phone to me! Must of been on the phone for 10min and still hadn’t ordered. Didn’t place the order in the end they were to rude!

Used this particular restaurant for well over 10 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!You can see them cooking the food so you know thy e environment and kitchen is clean & prepared properly.Decent price for what you get. They don’t give small portions either, usually lasts us for 2 days. Food tastes amazing and nothing is bland. Efficient when taking the order and never late. Delivery people are always polite. My go too takeaway always. Love it!
