Prezzo in Tunbridge Wells

Rocked up Tuesday 4.55pm with 2 kids on scooters. Told they were too busy. Likely 1) not enough staff and 2) they couldn't be bothered with 2 active kids. Happy to go elsewhere and despite living a 5 min walk away, I won't be trying again.

This is a very nice building and the restaurant is located on two floors accessible via a beautiful twirling staircase.The upstairs where we sat had its own bar and friendly staff.I want mention how much enjoyed looking at the jars of vegetables displayed everywhere, which I found out that they are preserved in oxygenated water so they stay fresh.As much as I loved this place the food was a let down, it just wasn’t that great.

Amazing evening at prezzo! Our waiter Ben was very attentive to our table, very kind and funny. Would love to come to this restaurant again! #GIVEBENARAISE

Bone dry carbonara with lots of undesolved large cooking salt grains in a child's meal...inedible and dangerous...who adds salt like that to an already salty child's meal???? I hope that chef doesn't have younguns...Teaspoon sized piece of mozzarella on the garlic bread....Cheap tatty all dressed up to look chic...if you're impressed?? Then you haven't had good food.

Went with the family for mother's day which was good. We had the mother's day menu which was good value and staff were great.

Pleasant Italian chain with nice menu and fast service...

I just had a Deliveroo from Prezzo 84 Mount Pleasant Rd Royal Tunbridge Wells.Two x Spagetti Bolognaise. You can't get that wrong. Especially when you're an Italian restaurant. It's the most basic of meals.Well. How wrong can you be. £34 for two boxes of mediocre spagetti topped off by, maybe a reasonable table spoon of 'Bolognaise sauce'.The reason I ordered it was because I had just given my granddaughter a Marks and Spencer bowl of the same dish for less than a third of the price. Serving it up, I tasted it and found it delicious.So, I thought 'I'll get a grown up version of this meal from an Italian restaurant - it'll be even better'.Enter HUGE disappointment.Really. This was the most pitiful attempt at school dinner food I've ever had the misfortune to entertain. Yet, it wasn't school dinner. It was 'restaurant quality'. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING.Do yourself a favour, go to M&S and forget about this lot.

Went for a meal with friends, the food was OK not good or great.I had a pizza couldn't cut it, taste was OK but to be honest I wanted better. The starter was OK the pudding was small. The price for all of it was high in my opinion. Service was OK. Didn't tell us that they had already added 10% service to the bill.I wouldn't rush to go back or recommend. £5 for a tiny bottle of ale is ridiculous.

First time we've ever been here and so glad we did! Attentive staff, ordered a selection of bits, really yummy food, king prawn starter was delicious! Pizza was huge, and cooked to perfection. Baby friendly.

We were celebrating father's day (not same as UK date so wasn't that busy). The food was delicious, however it would have been great if staff was more helpful. I understand that for them it is just another customer but for people on the other side it can be a very important day or gathering.The place itself looked reasonable, quit small, but nicely decorated and clean.
