Thai Lemongrass in Tunbridge Wells

Government Food hygiene rating for here is 2 which means improvements are necessary. Not gonna eat here again unless they fix their hygiene ratings.

UNREALKais kitchen was closed and I’ve discovered a brilliant alternative:) these people were so CA DO… they would practically veganise anything and have me full confidenceThe food was incredible …. Even though they oddly added mushrooms into my dish when I checked specifically to make sure there were none 🙈 even so the food was amazing and my man enjoyed the mushroomsWe had vegan massaman….. I would suggest more then one piece of potato a portion… but other than that the flavour was insane….. it made me sad to stop eating come I was full 😂10/10 even with the mushroom blunderCan’t wait to order again!Oh also the spring rolls were so packed with veg and tasty.. could have been crispier

We did our research for this restaurant. Very plain but pleasant. Staff pretty friendly. But the service virtually non existent. Got there @ 2010hrs, menus @ 2025 hrs, order taken for drinks @ 2040 hrs and food order shortly after. Mix up with order but nothing significant . Had to be out by 2130 hrs. Still eating starter. Food fairly good, have had better. My dinner companions enjoyed themselves. Naively didn't think about parking which is non existent!

Visited twice now in a month. Upon first look at the vast menu you are overwhelmed with choice however the menu is very easy to navigate and see which items are spicy. I opted for a typical favourite of mine, Pad Thai, the 2nd visit a Pad King Special.The service both times was great and as expected. Food arrived in good time and the chicken was incredibly tender. Sauces both times were delicious and kept you from even talking to my other half opposite, not too sweet or salty etc.10% surcharge for service wasn't expected as I would have tipped if not, but the prices were great regardless at £7.95 for main meals with meat/fish.I'll be visiting again 👍

We began ordering take away from here when our usual Thai place shut because of COVID. We tried about 4 different Thai places in the area and soon realized Lemongrass was definitely the best! It’s definitely an amazing replacement- the staff are always friendly and the food delicious! They often cater to any changes we want. And as a vegetarian the vegetables are fresh. My partner enjoys the meat or seafood dishes as well. We lived in Thailand for years so we’re picky about our Thai food but it’s seriously top notch here!

Very warm welcome. Family run with a wonderful front of house person Jasmin. The thai curry was magnificent. If we lived closer we would be there regularly.

The best food in the region. Amazing flavours and great variety of options. Website is easy, staff are friendly and helpful and the food is divine. Definitely a new favourite for us. Can’t wait until we can dine in post-lockdown.
