First time I’ve visited the Beacon for 7years-wow wow wow! The owners have done an incredible job. It’s very welcoming, all staff were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to help. The location is beautiful, we sat on the terrace with stunning views.Once we sat down fresh bread, Olive oil and balsamic delivered and jugs of ice cold water. A really lovely intro to what was a beautiful meal! The green soup which was chilled was outstanding, followed by makerel which was melt in the mouth. It was a set menu for £20 which was delicious. Then the bill came with the most amazing fudge. Absolutely blew me away. Thank you - everything was perfect!

Had a great Sunday lunch. The sharing chicken and bacon pie was excellent. The chocolate pot was divine. We were in the Garden Room with excellent service.

Visited this lovely location today... Just off the main centre and down a country road. Some lovely views and very tranquil setting. My wife had said she saw this on Instagram and wished to see what the fuss was about...We did not plan ahead and book. But, we called enroute. Sadly the restaurant was full. But, we were pleased to experience a nice Mokka and latte on the terrace. The staff were kind enough to offer a snack for our young daughter ( which she loved 😁)The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Clean, fantastic decor and stunning terrace. A lovely peaceful space to endure the beautiful landscape. We hope to revisit soon with the intention of having food, then I can hopefully correct to a 5* review 👍😁

Beautiful hillside setting with high quality amenities from a mini amphitheatre for shows a sundeck for events & entertaining in addition to their marvellous restaurant & balcony. With an obviously regular clientele, their staff are very friendly & well informed regarding the menu making the experience relaxed & special. The menu is limited but expertly put together catering for all refined tastes.. excellent!

Undeniably lovely views and location. The venue after a refresh has a much better ambiance. The food is good but not spectacular with excellent service.

Great views , staff were excellent and very attentive. We didn’t eat but the food coming out looked great!Just the parking wasn’t great as we had to park out on the road due to the car park being full. Other than that it was perfect, we’ll be returning

What a great evening! Went out with my wife for her birthday meal, and I can say if you're after a refined yet cozy and stylish meal out in TW this is at the top of the list. Excellent food -fautless even, I had the mackerel for starters and the venison for the main (see pics) the venison was especially indulgent with a perfectly cooked haunch and a mini venison shepherds pie on the side! Great atmosphere and wine choices on the pricier side of things but worth every penny for the quality served up here.
