Very friendly pub. Lovely staff, good food and the prosecco was excellent!recommended.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived at this traditional, friendly, village pub. Absolutely no complaints about our meals or the excellent service we received and the bar has a fine selection of drinks and again, with the same great service. Looking forward to returning in the future to enjoy this pub again.

Delightful pub off the beaten track. Very good menu and the food was delicious. Well kept ale very tasty. Find it if you can and enjoy. 4 of us were well looked after at lunchtime.

Went for dinner last night with friends. Food was absolutely excellent. Had 3 courses and all of them were delicious, freshly prepared and well presented. Atmosphere was that of a great friendly village pub.

Have you ever been to a pub for lunch, and the food did not live up to your expectations? Not the case here! We found this pub by chance as we are visiting for the weekend, with a new chef and a genuinely friendly family behind the bar. It was amazing. I got the seafood tagliatelle and my fiance got the chorizo and beef burger. I can tell you it was the best food I have had in ages. The mussels In my tagliatelle were better than the seafood restaurant we had visited in Southampton on the seafront a few weeks before. If we lived in the area this would be a regular! I hope people take the time to come and visit this little gem! We are leaving very full and considering coming back for dessert tomorrow!

Great local pub for beer and food. Been here many lunchtimes over the past couple of months and it's been consistently very good
