Quaint little pub with loads of history, good food and great staff. Will definitely go again 👍🍻

Been coming here for decades, but at £25 for 3 drinks and a couple of packets of pork scratchings, i might have to reconsider.Nice location, nice view, and plenty of parking, just a shame they have not kept or restored the old village stocks that used to be on site.Worth passing by for a pint at least, if nothing more.

I had been wanting to visit this pub for a long time and it didn’t disappoint, great gluten free options for my wife , some some nice local beers and ciders too . Will go again as the food was really good

Brilliant. Some of the best hospitality I’ve received in a long long time. Steve did everything to make sure we had a great stay and all with a smile. Bravo! Definitely will return and recommend

Great pub. We only had drinks but the view is unreal (as you can see). The inside is very rustic and worth a stop if you are driving by! The cemetery across the road is something you need to do. Very old and very historic. 1665AD.

Stumbled across this gorgeous little pub on the way to Sevenoaks . The food was absolutely incredible! We honestly didn’t expect much just thought the pub looked sweet but wow! 10/10 food , 10/10 service. Lovely locals pub. (We had homemade pie (which was venison for the day!!!) and the burger). Both my partner and I were very pleased .

This pub does an excellent Sunday roast with plenty of veg, crispy roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. A good plateful, I didn't have room for a pudding but some people did!

·

Had a very tasty roast venison here today, lovely setting and will definitely head back.

·

Lovely food and fantastic pasty to take away. Some outdoor seating overlooking the local church and a great place for a quick drink if on one of the many walks in the area. Will definitely be back soon.

We went tonight with my parents for dinner. The Ale was excellent. The food I had the Venison pie which was one of the best pie’s I’ve had. Just brilliant. My mum had the fish that was so abundant with prawns. Dad had haggis. Creme brûlée afters. Lovely and relaxing we left all stuffed and happy.
