Last weekend on Easter Sunday I was treated to lunch here by my daughter & her husband. There is not a thing I can fault! The staff are polite, menus are varied & the food is absolutely…..Resplendent!Two of us ordered the roast chicken with sage & lemon stuffing while the other meal was beef. The flavour was so delicious it was almost visible! The owner came & had a chat & you really felt a valued customer. He says his aim is to bring together the best aspects of the best restaurants under one roof - he is succeeding. The best culinary experience I have had in Tunbridge Wells in years bar none. 10/10 Get down here! 👍🏼👍🏼

Went to TN1 for dinner last night and very much enjoyed the experience. Will definitely go back. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Meals were tasty and portions were large. In fact so large that we should have ordered one starter between the two of us.It’s the kind of restaurant that’s needed in Tunbridge Wells and I hope that folk give it a chance.

Amazing food! Lovely warm restaurant with lots of light and beautifully designed. We had a lovely birthday lunch and got to the meet the House Celebrity, the lovely dog Dave 😍 We didn't photo the food as we were too busy enjoying it. 10/10

Attracted to restaurant by the stylish design. Good food, attentive service and cosy and spacious environment. Me and my wife are visitors from Hong Kong. We were given good tips in visiting nice areas at Calverley Park and High Street.

My friend and I had a wonderful meal here, the staff were friendly and very helpful, we hadn't booked but were told that they could have a table to 7.30pm which fitted into our plans perfectly, ordered a steak which was cooked exactly how I wanted it!

Lovely bar. We came here for brunch. Possibly a bit understaffed but still with a visit. Nice and spacious

Popped in for dinner with my wife early on a Saturday evening with no reservation. Were met by, I presume, the owners who are a very friendly & chill couple. Even though they were fully booked they managed to find us a table that had a later booking. We were then served by a couple of very friendly & efficient waitresses who it seemed nothing was too much trouble for & no question was too daft. Our food arrived promptly & we both agreed it was fantastic! The pepper sauce that came with the steak, mate you should be bottling that!I think the friendly calmness of the owners has filtered down through the staff giving the restaurant a nice relaxed atmosphere with efficient service. That, combined with an excellent chef, makes this easily the best restaurant in Tunbridge Wells.

We have been here many times over the last year for drinks and to eat.We booked a team night out here at Christmas the food was lovely and arrived within good time of arriving. Each course came out when expected and was no long waits between course. The food tasted great and was a good size portion to.The staff are very friendly and polite and very attentive to.Looking forward to going back again, already planning the next night out.

I usually give places the benefit of the doubt if there's a mistake, however the number of issues we had I feel it wouldn't be fair to someone reading my review if I did that.Granted we were a large party as it for a birthday, we were asked to pay £10 deposit per person and pre-book our meals in case we didn't show. One of our party was unwell so did not turn up but I believe one of the party did explain this over the phone the day before we arrived. When we all arrived our drinks were ordered and we sat waiting for our pre-booked food, an hour passed before we decided to ask on this. We were told it will be ten more minutes due to being down a chef and serving tables before us. However as we have pre-booked I cannot see any reason it was at least prepared before our arrival so this wouldn't happen.A further 18 minutes or so passed before the food did arrive, or at least most of it, one of our party had to wait another 10 minutes for just a burger, and on top of that an extra roast was delivered (which was likely for the one person that had fallen ill and didn't arrive), as explained before I had been told another party member called to cancel this. The roast chicken one of our party had ordered was very pink and had to be taken off the bill.I had the pan fried hake which is one of the positives of the review. The fish was lovely and the flavours included nduja/chorizo sausage and I think welks (could be wrong) but the flavours really complimented each other. Very good meal for a cold winter's day.Thankfully we didn't have to wait long for pudding, and after the extra meal with the mains our desserts were checked. Most of the desserts came out as intended, however the children had ordered chocolate ice cream and vanilla was delivered, this was quickly rectified by the manager.I had the crumble and again the food was very good, apple and cinnamon flavours making another great winter's meal. The staff were polite and when issues were brought up they did their best to resolve them.In conclusion it could have been the combination of the chef letting them down, the size of our party, and the person from our party falling ill that has resulted in this experience, but it's one that I feel could have been mostly avoided.

Amazing food, friendly staff, the owners are also very hospitable. Cocktails are fresh and tasty. Can't wait to return and try the brunch menu and Sunday roast! Definitely worth a visit.😘
