Pretty place but when we booked we checked that they could cater for a vegan and were told there were choices. We drove a long way and were only offered one salad starter followed by another main salad. A hot option would have been nice, so, very disappointing and hungry when we left.

The food was good. The staff were not so. 4 people in front of me at the bar, all ordered 2 drinks, 3 members of staff behind the bar and it took 15 minutes to get a drink. Not sure if they were undertrained or just didn't want to be working on a Sunday!

1st time visiting the Milk House. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu, such a great choice of food which is different from most restaurants we've been to, all very tasty and looked fantastic. Ambience was good with most visitors being well dressed and I'd say over the age of 40-60 in the restaurant with younger people in the bar, children in the garden. So in general- great food and good for all ages. Extremely good value for money. But!! Was totally shocked at the toilets which were smelly, dirty and impractical sinks where you get your shoes washed as you wash your hands. The staff were extremely good, polite, and friendly.Would definitely go back but will hope I don't need the toilet.

Disappointing Sunday lunch of tasteless roast pork and soggy roast potatoes, miniscule sliver of crackling and no apple sauce. Service was mostly DIY - get your own cutlery, and condiments , although staff were pleasant enough. If you want somewhere to have Sunday lunch with the kids and aren't too bothered about the dining experience then I suppose it will do.

Traditional English pub serving up classic gastro pub fare in the village of Sissinghurst, Kent. The food, atmosphere, and service were all pleasant enough, but portions were on the small side and prices were steep! The Sussex Best bitter poured a lovely pint and the sausages and mash was one of the tastier dishes on the menu. Easy parking on site and a perfectly fine pub for a family meal out.

The pub is interesting and the service attentive but the menu is too complex (too many components to each dish), not badly cooked but the different elements compete. One dish was returned as the main component had itself turned, but it was replaced without a problem by one in good condition. All the other dishes were fine. Accidents can happen. But I would return.

Delightful place!! We stayed 2 nights in the rooms above, spotless and really pleasant attention to detail. Sunday lunch is delicious! Roast Beef was a delight and the team are super friendly and attentive. Big car park, cost appropriate to the comfort and quality of care/food. Highly recommend! :)

Had a delightful early evening meal, a party of 4 adults and a month old baby. The attentive team couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The food was delicious and extremely good value. Will definitely return, thank you

Fantastic village gastropub with an excellent choice of food and drink. Freshly made and stylish menu - had the pork croquettes followed by the fish and chips. Beautiful flavours.Mid-winter pudding choice a hit - lovely espresso martini brownie.Big garden out the back so definitely one to revisit in the summer.Five star pub. Would recommend 🥛🏠 🙌🏻

Had a lunch in the bar area (you order and pay at the bar). Food came out very quickly despite it being a busy Sunday. Pork schnitzel was exquisite and everything else was very tasty. We also had a nice spot right by the fireplace, which was an added bonus on a cold day like today. we’ll definitely be back soon!
