Awful rude service . It had been 45 minutes since we ordered our drinks and I had already paid for them. I went up to the bar and asked a girl wearing a green top with dark hair and a pony tail how long they will take. She didn’t answer her my question and gave me a dirty look I asked how long they will take again and she cut me off and walked away from me. Another waiter was at the bar and he said there’s over 200 people in here move out the way. They kicked me our for calling her rude. There’s much nicer pubs such as the George

This Weatherspoons is quite a bit different from the average 'spoons. Set in an old opera house, they have managed to keep so much of the original interior design and decor in place, making it incredibly eye catching. Be sure to visit the upper floors if they are open. The staff are friendly, and the food is good. Definitely the cheapest pint in Tunbridge Wells! Only thing to note, please go a bit easier on your poached eggs! Soft yolks are the best yolks!

Cheap drinks and nice food, great place. Could do with some background music for a better atmosphere

Great building and nice atmosphere for a pub. Decent prices like any other Wetherspoon pub. The worst thing was us ordering food, to say that I am disappointed is an understatement. Cold chips, burger wast the main disappointment just some things dropped in a burger tower and served up. Worst looking burger I ever had and taste was average to be kind in describing it.After all nice place to visit a milestone in the area in terms of architecture and cheap alcohol but avoid their food menu to avoid disappointment.

Worth a visit just to see the stunning interior. Otherwise it's just a Wetherspoons with the usual offerings - fairly priced drinks and pub classics menu. I didn't eat but the ale was in good form.
