The Warren in Tunbridge Wells

We popped in for lunch recently to check out the Warren in anticipation of having our Wedding meal there later in the year. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and were eager to show us around and talk about our plans.The ambiance of the place is like no other, it is eccentric, quirky and fun. Considering the calibre of the food it is also very reasonably priced. I had a vegetarian main course consisting of king oyster mushrooms and cauliflower. It was amazing, flavours I didn't even know you could get out of such a vegetarian dish. Fantastic, and highly looking to coming back later in the year to celebrate our wedding!

We had a lovely weekday set lunch. Asparagus and cockles was a generous, fresh, delicious and different starter. Mains were similarly generous and tasty - the mussels were best we’ve had this side of the channel. Topped off with excellent friendly & enthusiastic service. Recommended.

Good food. Service and interior let it down. The walls are painted bronze and the lighting in traditional bronze chandeliers looks bizarre, to put it politely. There were several attempts to get us to but cocktails , which we did not want. When we declined the staff could have done a better job of hiding their irritation.

Consistently great, a special and unique place we are very lucky to have in RTW, food delicious, setting quirky and luxurious, service 5⭐️ - engaging, entertaining and professional. An absolute gem and top on our list for a memorable outing!

It was my daughters 21st and I wanted to treat her to something very special for her birthday, just the two of us. I'm not from round these parts so I had to rely on the reviews of the top 10 places to dine in the area and I chose The Warren 🤞. I must say from start to finish it was a very pleasant experience and my daughters beaming smile confirmed how happy she was with her surprise lunch from dad. She said that it made her feel like a princess and that was good enough for me. Loved it and will most definitely be recommending this place to all I know and will be going back for more.

First time visiting Tunbridge Wells and I couldn't ask for a better restaurant to stay and dine in! Lovely space with very friendly people and the best part.. food! Beautifully prepared dish and reasonable prices too. On Sunday there's a special deal with 2 or 3 course for lunch hours. I'll definitely recommend.

Lovely place and decor in the centre of TW. Tentative staff, we had a nice chat. Great food, our starters were fab as well as the Sunday roast. One of our party had a birthday and we were made feel special. You must try the deep fried miso Mars bar!

Lovely fine dining restaurant with very nice dishes made from locally sourced ingredients...

As ever, delicious hearty food, and a fantastic selection of wines to go with it.The menu was slightly different to what I had seen online, but understandable with current restrictions that it might differ.We had a delicious amuse-bouche, that was some kind of Pumpkin/Garlic shot. Sadly I missed the actual name of this.Highly recommend.
