Great afternoon Tea at a very nice location. Staff is extremely friendly and we loved the food.Visited a few times now and will certainly go back.

Ok. A bit drab given the location, run down. No cream for afternoon teas at 2pm on a Thursday before Good Friday. So not the best planners either. Kitchen behind counter looked aged. The cake is very yummy though, hence the 3 stars. Had it take out as it was a nice day and the benches opposite on the river bank were in better condition

The location of this place is what makes it. Nothing like eating beside the river on a summer's day. I could moan about long wait and perhaps the food not being the best I've ever had - but all is forgiven for the well mannered staff, sunshine and enjoying sitting next to a river with a good cuppa.

Wheel place to have a drink by the river on a sunny day. The got chocolate was wonderful so was the sandwiches. Prices were reasonable. Bread needed to be toasted a bit.

Insane prices for what you get, close to £9 for a sandwich, £2.50 for a 500 ml of Coke. We had to wait 45-mins for our order and when it arrived it was the wrong bread and wrong filling. Giving an extra star because the location is excellent.

A great little old fashioned style tea room in the middle of the Thames at Abingdon. Friendly staff and most importantly for me is that it is dog friendly. It has a selection of food from bacon sandwiches to cakes and also has outside seating next to the river. My dog was very happy with the victoria sponge cake.

Really lovely location next to the river, staff all really helpful and friendly. We sat outside by river but indoors is also nicely set up.Menu was good with plenty of choice.Amazing range of cakes, sandwiches were lovely. Saw some people eating jacket potatoes, they were massive and looked delicious.Very relaxing, watching the boats drift past.

Breakfast by a lovely riverside location. Service really slow. Toast needed a little longer in the toaster. Luckily had cash on me as no card payments accepted and not advised until you've ordered and are ready to pay. Good value overall, will definitely visit again. Breakfast menu states two slices of toast but only served one, when queried waitress said it was only one slice, although she did offer to get another, not quite the point.

Delicious sandwiches and afternoon tea in a lovely riverside location. Plenty of seating inside or outside by the river. Good selection of interesting teas, good coffee too, and pretty reasonable prices!
