Average at best - travelled here with my partner recently for our monthly date night and happy to say I will not be coming back. The food is bland and not well presented, I burnt my hand on the plate and was not warned by any off the staff that it was extremely hot. There was a waitress standing behind my partner for most of the evening watching us eat and to top this all off, the staff were unfriendly. If your looking for an average night out this is the place.

Excellent lunch today, Chicken and Mushroom homemade pie lovely.

·

Always lovely fresh food and the owners are very friendly!

·

Great service and great food. The steaks are amazing - obviously from a quality butcher!

·

It's a lovely village pub with great staff and owners. Good quality meals at reasonable prices, booking is a must as it gets pretty busy

·

Well presented, well cooked British food. Had a great pint of Loddon brewery Hoppit. Slight downside is the menu rarely changes

Had a family lunch midweek, and sat out in the sun. Great service, we hadn't booked but it was no trouble. Highchair provided for my son, and nice & clean too.Food was delicious, salmon special, ham egg & chips and scampi were amongst the choices we had, all excellent. Also glad to see its dog friendly if seated outside I think I heard someone say, so will bring the dog next time!

A clean car park, porch and entrance into a very well presented bar area and just cleaned/ sanatized table, ready for us! A well worked out variety of fare, over three courses, with Great local beer, a staff working hard to keep the present situation uppermost in their minds with their service- and succeeding!A delightful landlady made herself known, without being intrusive, just friendly. The table was served a variety of starters, mains and a desert, all well presented, and very tasty! Good wine choices available. Would go again, and happy to recommend.

Warm welcome, obvious precautions in place and a great menu. Food was, as ever, delicious. The perfect place for a midway rendezvous for friends who live quite far apart. Looking forward to our next visit!

This place is just about perfect in my view, well looked after furniture and decor, attentive staff, beer comes in the matching glasses.Pub food but good quality and nicely cooked.Perhaps a few more adventurous dishes on the menu but still give it 10 out of 10.
