Boundary House public house in Vale of White Horse

Have been here numerous times in the past and always had good, value for money food. Sadly today (Feb 2022) this was not case. The pasta for my 2 year old grand-daughter was hard and under-cooked and my daughter's vegetarian burger was rock-hard and virtually inedible. The staff were helpful to a degree with replacing the burger but disinterested when I mentioned the pasta not being cooked. Nothing offered in way of replacement or money refunding. My cheese & bacon burger was tasty and all the chips were acceptable. A disappointing visit overall...

Love the boundary house great food friendly staff and excellent prices. I have never been disappointed with food or service here can't beat it for good pub grub and friendly atmosphere

Had the roast which was delicious.. banging Yorkshire puddings .. Great value for money.. recommend.. Just been back and had another wonderful meal absolutely brilliant food and friendly staff thank you

Lovely Sunday roast. Only the veges need better cooking. Meat was beautifully cooked. The burger needs improving though. Beer-very nice! Good service. Will recommend!

Visited for a Christmas party meal with work and can say it was a fully enjoyable experience. Staff were excellent, providing good customer service, very quick and efficient! Nice warming welcome when you arrive, not a bad thing to say about this place! Absolute pleasure 🤩Oh and food was outstanding 😁

Wonderful pub. Great value food, delicious, quick and hot. Will happily go back if in the area again. Staff were exceptional helpful and place is kept very clean, reassuring and covid safe. No issues at all

We asked at the very last minute ( 4 days prior) for a birthday party for our 11 year old and his 4 brothers and 10 friends and they put on an amazing spread!! Kids absolutely loved it and the pudding was just Devine. Vanilla cheese cake with fruit compote in a separate pot, toffee sauce chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce in separate pots everyone loved it!! We went for the “gold package” thinking it would probably be enough for all 15 of them plus 5 adults and it was more like a buffet for about 40 people. The boundary house staff have been more than inviting and accommodating!! I cannot praise them enough!! I will deffo be booking more parties here! We have already booked Christmas dinner here and cannot wait!! Best local ever!! Especially for families. Thank you thank you thank you so so much ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you to all staff involved ❤️❤️❤️

Booked table for 7pm only to be told food orders stop at 7pm due to Christmas parties. Not emailed or phoned to inform us. Half the menu was not available. My food was dry and rubbery when dished up after a 35 minute wait. Ran out of 2 different types of wine I was wanting to drink. Don't think I'll return for a while.

Lovely food and menu is well presented. The staff are very attentive and make you feel really welcome.The young woman serving food today was really kind to our toddler and very happy, we were particularly pleased with how she took time to listen to what our toddler was saying to her! 😊

Very nice little pub, on a main road too so easy access, very nice food and drink and great service, good prices too!
