Bowyer Arms in Vale of White Horse

Very nice food, lovely pub first time we had been there. Would definitely recommend, nice staff, very relaxing atmosphere would be great in the summer with the rear garden. Will definitely visit the bowyer Arms again!

Had amazing time visiting this place! I had Signature Fish & chips it was great the portion was more than I was expecting to which includes scampi and curry sauce and mixed grill with grilled vine tomatoes. The service was outstanding thanks to new gentlemen that served us nicely went down with recom! Great feel to the pub will bring more my friends next time. Really enjoyed it

I would like to say massive thank you for the fundraiser that you have done for Abingdon riding school for the disabled of a race night , it was a fun evening and everyone has said they enjoyed the evening. We raised £260.00 for Rda, so thank you so much.

We visited on Sunday ,a party of ten ,the food was outstanding, and the service was great, although they were busy ,we didn't have to wait ,or rushed ,for a village pub , its a credit to the manager and staff , thank you for making my birthday meal lovely

Great community pub, and a good selection of beers. But what really makes the difference is the care and attention that Andy and Elaine give to their community. We're very fortunate to have them.

Amazing little pub with a great team of staff, providing exceptional service and serving hearty, top quality food and drinks, from a wide-ranging menu! 💯 There's a very nice homely atmosphere inside, and it's very spacious too with lots of tables, as well as a dedicated bar area. There's a covered outdoor seating area too, where you can sit and watch the trains pass through Radley station in the warmer months 🚆 The food was absolutely delicious, and well worth the money, with a starter, two very filling mains, a dessert, and two drinks (one being a large glass of wine) coming to just under £30! 😄 And the staff, including the manager, were all lovely to talk to and nothing was too much trouble 👍🏻Since the pub has had a rebrand and a complete makeover, it's become a lot better in all aspects, and not having personally visited here for several years before this particular recent visit, I can now confidently say I'll be back far more often! 🙌🏻

I was born in Oxford but have lived in Canada for 30 years. One of the highlights of my trips home has always been lunch at the Bowyers Arms. Food is superb (Fish and Chips excellent), friendly staff, great atmosphere and good prices - highly recommended.

Very much worth a detour from Abingdon back home to Little Wittenham, name of the pub and pub itself of course stand out. Nice atmosphere and happy banter with staff. I promise next time we'll stay for food

Those pubs who qualify for Cask Marque accreditation should ensure that every pint is at it best.Beer left in 'the pipe' overnight, is not at its best.Otherwise the place was clean, Covid compliant and service was prompt.

Great new summer menu with a variety if dishes. Loved the ravioli starter. Enjoyed lunch with a cold refreshing strawberries and cream cider. Staff friendly as ever and happy to make changes and swaps to the order.
