This is a lovely little cafe, the staff are delightful and the food was splendid. If you are an avid walker I can highly recommend the walk to Kelmscott and back to help work up an appetite for a delicious cake afterwards. Also, we've used the cafe as a mid ride coffee stop which is a perfect way to explore the rolling hills of the cotswolds.

Had expected great things after reading the reviews. Started well as there was free parking, but felt things went downhill from there. The food is rather expensive. We had a baguette, at £6 each. The garden only has picnic tables, but chairs were available in another area of the garden. I went to the window to ask if we could get a chair/sit in there. The guy who was in the kitchen, just shouted out rather rudely I AM COOKING!!! I pressed on to the kiosk area and asked the woman who served us, who was lovely and said she would have one popped up to us. As I walked back I passed the window and heard the woman repremand this guy for his attitude!! The chap appeared and plonked the chair down abruptly. He brought our food but didn't give us serviettes, condiments or a knife etc. Again I had to trot to the woman to ask for these. The service had a lot to be desired. The highlight of our visit was the wonderful old chap next door, singing in his garden and popping his head over the fence for a chat, just delightful!
