The food was good the service was bad we had to wait for 40 minutes for our food and the guy said it would be 29 minutes

I love caprinos but this resturant is a let down.Pizza was burnt and chewy and the spicy chicken pieces we hard and chewy hardly cooked. Won't be ordering from this restaurant ever again. All tasteless

I don’t think they’re even worth 1 star. My husband ordered two pizzas and a few sides and paid over £45 for the food plus delivery. The pizza did not show up, there was no delivery made at all. My husband then called up and asked what was happening, the driver then told him that he did deliver the pizza and then the driver came back to my house at 21:00 to “check” if he had the right house…. I opened the door to the driver and informed him we had NO PIZZA DELIVERY, he stood there and disrespected me and said he delivered to my property but didn’t use a sat-nav!! He said he would go back and talk to his manager. We was left with no phone call, no pizza and they took £45 from my husband. My husband then called the restaurant the following night and requested to speak to the manager. The “cover” manager said that he “personally” made the pizza and the driver “personally” delivered it to my house but he never did. My husband wished to speak to the correct manager and that never happened. No phone call, no messages, no refund, no offer for any pizza. Still to this day, we have been chasing up what’s happening, no one answers, no one cares, they took £45 from my husband! We had NO PIZZA. And the disrespectful behaviour from staff, the drivers and the restaurant staff… coming back to my property to prove me wrong! Will never ever ever order here again, me and my husband lost £45 with no pizza, absolutely disgusted!

The worst pizza I've ever eaten. Actually I couldn't even eat all pieces.I ordered a capriciosa - a ham turned out to be a sliced, very salty and cheap sausage. Cheese was baked brown and crisp...Tomato sauce tasted like an instant sauce.Save your money. Even a frozen pizza from Sainsbury's for ÂŁ2 is much better then this.

Nice kind works, greeted as soon as I come in, helped my around the menu with a huge variety of pizzas and sides, great deals and food taste amazing, hot and fresh, you can even ring and pick up, order at store and get it delivered, will definitely recommend

Started great with fast delivery but the past two orders from them have been over an hour and the food is cold. When we call, they say they are just leaving - an hour after we ordered. Won't be ordering with them again.

The pizza tasted pretty good, many options for you to choose. The kitchen is visible to anyone who walks in, a very clean place. Staff was friendly and helpful but back to the pizza. It looked very delightful and filling would recommend it.

I ordered 2 pizzas online and was told they would be here in 45 mins, after 1 hour we called and were told the driver is just leaving now. After an hour and half we called again and they said they would be here soon, shortly after they arrived.Pizzas were pretty nice to be fair and the dips nice as well, but waiting an hour and a half for food when you have kids isn't a great experience. Will have a think about using them again though.

I do not usually write reviews but felt compelled to after what was the worst customer service I have received in my life!I thought that I would try Caprinos last night as I am a pizza lover and they are new to the area. I attempted to place an order online for delivery but this function seemed to have been removed from their website. I decided to collect in person at around 9pm - bad decision! When I arrived, there were a few people outside who seemed to be waiting for their orders. After a few minutes of waiting, I was "served" by a man who appeared to be the owner/manager. He refused to face me or make eye contact while I placed my order, he was busy talking to his staff while taking my order which meant I had to repeat the order three times. Eventually he walked off looking for my order, I had to stop him and tell him I was here to place an order and not to make a collection. He did not listen and continued to look for a phantom pizza. When he decided he could not locate my order, he asked what I was here for and for my name. He then spoke to somebody else before finally taking my order. I thought this would be the end of the matter, sadly, not so.I presented a credit card for payment, only to be told that they do not take card which I found unusual especially during the pandemic. When I asked why they didn’t take card, the man said that they did not have a card reader yet and that I should use the ATM next door. Fortunately, I found some cash in my car and went back in to pay for the order. After waiting a bit more, I was served by a young lad this time who seemed pleasant enough, I paid for the order and asked how long it would take - I was told 10-15 minutes maximum.I came back about 20 minutes later; it was clear my order had not even started to be prepared. As they appeared busy, I waited a further 10 minutes before asking how much longer it would take. The seemingly pleasant young man became quite hostile at this stage and said it was in the oven and to wait - no apology provided. After another 10 minutes of waiting, my pizza was finally ready.Message to the management – basic respect and customer service is important even during busy periods and especially when newly opened. Realistic waiting times should be given to reduce the pressure on staff and to prevent customer disappointment. The pizza itself was average, lacked topping and is certainly not worth the full price. Will definitely stick with the many other pizza places around Abingdon.
