Forno in Vale of White Horse

What an absolute joy to be able to find a gem like this out of nowhere!!I genuinely had the best food in a while and the staff bring a little bit of Italian class and hospitality which is rare.There’s also lots of free parking spots and I highly recommend “ la pizza al forno” bcos it just goes perfectly with a glass of wine , or two 🤪

Ordered online but due to a problem my order didn't go through but payment was taken. I phoned the restaurant after 10 minutes when I didn't receive a confirmation email. They took all the details and said they would look into it and call me back. After about 50 mins the restaurant called back to apologise and said a refund had been processed and would I still like to order. So order placed over the phone, delivery within 25 mins, absolutely amazing, tasty, hot food and a free dessert to apologise. The restaurant went above and beyond thank you.

They are really nice lads prices are cheap and food is excellent and really good customer service I have already recommended my parents to the restaurant and they have said its great food amazing deserts and the chefs are really friendly and welcome and always smiling and happyThank you so much fornos for the delicious food and amazing customer service

Pasta was amazing, but the highlight was the tiramisu. Best I've had in a year!

Arrived and shown the table. Ordered drinks but whilst looking at the menu informed they are only doing starters and pizza no pasta dishes as the pasta chef is not there.Paid and finished drinks and went elsewhere as we were looking for pasta rather than pizza.He did examine the chef was off for a funeral. Just a shame we were not told this on entering.We will go back and give it another try once pasta is back on the menu.

Ordered for the first time this evening and SO glad I found Forno. Can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on it all this time!I spoke to Nico who recommended the Napoli pizza and Puttanesca pasta. Both were made perfectly; well balanced, authentic Italian dishes and arrived suitably hot. The online ordering system was also great, allows for Apple Pay, and scored a 5* food hygiene rating in a recent inspection (June 21).A faultless experience and will be back again next week. Fingers crossed the next time lives up to Nico’s service today.

Came here for a birthday party yesterday. The owners are so nice and the food is incredible! By far the best Italian in Abingdon. Freshly made and loads of it! Will be returning for sure ❤️
