Lovely clean place, with great food.

Both times I've been here the food has been excellent. The friend with whom I went is local and he just doesn't bother going anywhere else - I can see why.This last time we went on a Saturday and things were incredibly busy (including the takeaway service) so the waiting time between courses was a little longer than usual but the staff were just as polite and helpful as ever, there was no sense that they were rushed off their feet.

Stayed at Milton Hill House Hotel and came across this on Google.The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful.Would 100% recommendWe don't live too far away so will definitely make a journey back

Our now too takeaway. We have been using Hanney Spice during lockdown and ever since, great menu and excellent service. Will be going again soon.

We visited on Saturday for the first time. The staff helped with the wheelchair and the food was extremely tasty.

Had a meal this evening, food was excellent, staff were great, felt covid safe with fresh air & staff wearing masks. Highly recommended 👍

The food is excellent and the guys are fantastic. Great for eating in or taking away. Personal favourite dish is their Lamb Shatkora.

Fantastic little Indian restaurant! Food and service was of amazing quality, with every little detail taken care of. A wide selection of traditional Indian dishes on the menu, along with beers, wines, soft drinks, and other Indian staples. The decor and atmosphere was very homely and also had a very traditional Indian feel to it as well. Reasonable prices for the meal, and given that it was early December when we visited, we even received a Christmas card with the complimentary chocolates and hot towels at the end of our visit! Along with Abingdon Spice this is now a favourite Indian cuisine to eat at!

Appalling customer service and very average food.Never been so disappointed with a take away. Rang at 6pm to be told food wouldn’t be ready until 7.30. Arrived at 7.30 to a queue of 10 people outside in the car park mid December. Waited outside until 8pm when I finally made it inside. I then paid and had to wait a further 20 minutes for food.No apologies or explanation from members of staff. They appeared to be making food for those as they arrived in the door, not the time they agreed to on the phone. (A couple of ladies ordered 3 people ahead of me in the queue and got their food 10 minutes earlier). For perspective, I had a very small order of two curry’s, rice and naan so it should not take 2.5 hours to make.They could not control the queue either with other rude customers skipping the queue as they didn’t want to wait.I got home over an hour after the food should have been ready, and I have to say it wasn’t worth the wait. Very average curry that was cold and rather bland.I understand weekends can get busy, however please don’t take my order if you cannot fulfil it.Please don’t waste your time, and order elsewhere.
