La Fontana Italian Restaurant in Vale of White Horse

These guys looked after us for our family wake. Very clean, tidy and professional. We would recommend this place to anyone, very friendly people and great service.

I love the food at La Fontana. The Fillet Rossini is fantastic, and the quality of the takeaway food is just as good. 100% recommend.

An absolute great find. Booked here using the Dinner and breakfast package. 1 night stay. Such a relaxed place. A really well run family business. The food was outstanding as was the service. Superb selection of bar drinks and wine list all very reasonably priced. Breakfast selection was very generous. The rooms were spacious and bed really comfy. Nice selection of complimentary teas and coffee. Lovely overhead shower with loads of room. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would most definitely stay again.

We have never been to this restaurant before in 11 years of living in the area. It was fabulous. A set menu for Valentine's evening, but the choice was good and the food cooked to perfection. The staff were truly professional and I can't rate this restaurant highly enough. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Took my Dad here for his 90th birthday, i had told them when I booked but asked for nothing extra. The food was fabulous, the staff were lovely and Chef Matio(?spelling) made him the most delicious cake as a special surprise.

Room tired. Food and service mediocre. Services poor. No WiFi in room 12. TV reception rubbish and no remote control. Room both bed and bath room need some TLC. Stains on bed spread, carpet and headboard. My wife would not be happy staying here 3/10. Food quality is OK. But service from pregnant lady was poor hence no tip 3/10. Needless to say I won't be choosing to stay here again.

Had to organise a wake recently, and La Fontana was recommended. Fabulous food,and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Everyone in our group commented positively. I look forward to returning, but for a nice meal next time.

We went to La Fontana after my brothers funeral and they were amazing. We chose Package B which were sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes. It was such good food, the cheese and onion rolls were the best I've ever tasted. It was great to not have to sort anything out, we arrived there and it was all done waiting for us. All the staff were so helpful and understanding, and we didn't feel rushed, some of us sat there for some time reminiscing. I totally recommend them, and I hope to go there again one day under happier circumstances. Thank you La Fontana

A very nice to stay. The restaurant was clean well presented & had a good menu, the see area was clean and tidy. The reception & restaurant staff were polite and helpful.The hotel room was clean and tidy. I only has 2 small gripes.1 That were the shower heads looked grubby and needed a good clean.2 the bed side lamps had not bulbs in them so did not work.Small thinks.I would stay here again.

We went to La Fontana to celebrate buying our first house and we couldn't have been more impressed! As a vegetarian with a carnivorous other half I didn't feel short of options and after a delicious starter of mozzarella garlic bread, I was treated to the best risotto I have ever eaten, including ones eaten in Italy, it really was that good! The service was relaxed and friendly and we didnt feel like we'd been rushed at all. The prices were very reasonable and in line with similar restaurants we've eaten at in the area and with the great cooking we experienced it was well worth every penny. I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed, well priced and high quality Italian restaurant and I will be recommending their accommodation to friends and relatives on that basis alone!
